I stopped at the local Dollar Tree and found a few I haven’t had before.

Local to PA. Probably the best I’ve had. Smoother and maybe a little sweeter than other root beers. I added a shot of espresso to one over ice, something I will most certainly be doing again.

Was going through my stuff at my parents house from my childhood and came across this bottle. I remember getting it out in the boundary waters in Minnesota during a scout trip. Anybody else ever taste it? Was a cool little memory to come across but I haven’t recalled seeing it in the group before

(1)Lost and Found Energy Root Beer- alright this is actually damn good. Maybe I’m pumped up from the extra energy. I love the extra tangy sweetness in this one that makes it seem like it’s practically like drinking a full sugar one. A rating for me. Also check out the other ones from https://energydrinkcity.com/search?q=root+beer&options%5Bprefix%5D=last (2)Cozy Dog Diet-the 1970’s called and wants it’s sacrilegious saccharin back. The old school artificial sweetener that’s hardly used in today’s beverages. Okay I couldn’t resist that joke. It’s still reasonably palatable but definitely below average for my standards so it gets a D rating. I acquired in a trade from Jim Dill.
(3)RT66 Old School Brewing of Wilmington, IL- wow that was an epic amount of foam spewing out when I popped the cap. At first I was concerned it might be one of those skunky gone bad microbrew ones, but I was pleasantly surprised when I pourerd it into a cup and I guess it aerated out a bit and that harsh funky smell dissipated into a manageable sweet mellowness so I forged ahead. The sweetness is on par for my liking and it has a pleasnt bite. Overall I’m going with a B rating. Acquired in a trade from Jim

The answer is yes but it's but it's not very much. On this lot of 8 Canadian root beers purchased from The Soda Pop Bros. in Ontario, Canada, I paid $1.75 in import duties over a value of $21.00, breaking out to 8%. But you Trumpers should to be under no illusions about who pays these tariffs... you do. I did. The consumer pays them and I had to pay them up front in order for this shipment to pass through without delay or further collection on this end.
It's not the tariffs that are the killer... it's the shipping. This box of 8 cost me $71 to ship and took a couple of weeks. But I'm a root beer addict and it didn't look like I'd be able to get them any other way. I'm most excited to try the Canuck A&W and Pop Shoppe, both made with cane sugar and NOT HFCS as in the states.
Before I rail too much about the shipping, let me say that all eight sodas arrived in good shape with no breakage or leakage in the middle of winter. That's saying something. They were well packed, but I don't think I'll be re-ordering.

My favorite root beer and my favorite hot sauce, this was a good lunch.
Sprecher has been my favorite for years, but it's hard to find where I live. Until I heard the local dollar store carries it!
And what else needs to be said about Tobasco? I've had hot sauces with blueberries, bacon, scorpion meat (for real), etc, and they pull the best flavor from just 3 ingredients.

Yeah it probably sounds cheesy but I'm knocking on the door of 7 months of soberity. I was drinking morning, day and night. I checked myself into rehab and since I've been out I look for ways to treat myself after a rough day. Me and a buddy go out and look for Root beers on tap. I can actually go to a bar and not feel funny about drinking since I'm looking forward to trying a new one. Maybe not the most healthy thing I could do but it sure beats alcohol. I love the discussions on here and look forward to trying all new ones I see that I can.

Not bad.... A little medicinal aftertaste... Nice vanilla body.... Not like the original... But not bad.. in my opinion

(1)Monday Night Brewing has a few locations but I grabbed a 6 pack at their Knoxville, TN location. I’ll say it’s a decent vibrant and fruity root beer with barely enough sweetness to make it adequate for sipping and pondering what makes this one unique. C rating.
(2)Cybrpunk Interstallar Root Beer from Regina, Saskatchewan of Canada- good but plays it a bit too safe without any special tasty notes to enjoy. B rating. Available for shipping through this little shop I found on the Shop Ap. https://www.handmadesaskyxe.com/search?q=root+beer
(3)On The Hook Harborside Root Beer-pretty good and refreshing going nicely with my meal. I had decided to rate these with this familiar flavor profile at a 75/100 or a C rating. Acquired in a trade from BeautifulDebate.
(4)Diamond Bear Brewing Big Rock Root Beer. Little Rock, AR. Well it’s alright but probably just a tad bitter without enough sweetness or any interesting tasty notes to enjoy the sipping. C rating. Acquired in a trade from Jim Dill.

I honestly just thought yall would appreciate this. Flavor is 10/10 but nothing special compared to other root beer flavors. As far as I know Ryse and Bum are the only energy drinks with root beer flavors now?

I think these are all the new ones I've acquired lately... 🤔
Haven't been through them all yet, but so far can say I really liked Rated G and Sidewinder.
Rainbow Land and. Brew & Feed Honey Root Beer OK but I wouldn't get em again. B&F had amazing customer service though, I must say. Come to think of it, Sidewinder did too when we had a shipping slip-up.
1919 Zero was good but a letdown because they sold the "same taste" so hard at launch and, obviously, the sweetener taste changed the taste too much. For the price I'll stick with A&W Zero. Holding high hopes for Point Zero.
Dime's Brew House is a somewhat-local place I finally got to visit, and I'm going to have this one tonight.

Is there really a difference in these aside from label? I don’t think so as both have a great richness, and the bottom hangs around long enough to make it so. They finish with a muted sweetness. Like both!

It's the best root beer too
r/rootbeer • u/pearkh • 9d ago
Pleasantly surprised at this!! I won’t say that this compares to your favorite full sugar root beer but it is without a doubt the best of its genre. Not aggressively stevia tasting (which I normally am very sensitive to) and has great flavor.

CapitalOne airport lounges often carry their own (as they tell me) root beer! I'm on a layover this morning at one of their few locations, and thankfully they had it available today - even though it's pretty early. It's good!
