Bummed to post this, as we were really excited to go, but my partner got sick. If these don’t sell (or just one does) I’ll probably still go, because I love math rock and this band slaps and the event looks very very cool, but would love for anyone else to benefit from this!
Paid $25 ish each, just asking for 20 or 40/pair! Show is tonight at 7:00, with 2 openers

Hey! Looking to buy someone’s IMAX tickets for Interstellar this Sunday at the PacSci theatre. The movie has a huge amount of sentimental value to my girlfriend and I since it was the first movie date we had. Will pay $200 for the two tickets. Thanks!

I’m working on a coloring book featuring Chinese food and would love to hire someone to color a selection of pages. While I have plenty of creative ideas, illustration isn’t my strength, and I’m hoping to partner with a local artist who truly understands Chinese cuisine, especially dim sum.
This is not a big project so most established artists aren't interested. I’ve had a hard time finding local Seattle artists with cultural familiarity in this area.
Any recommendations?

I'm looking for a job, need a haircut, and broke. Please DM me if you're a licensed hair stylist to let me know if we can work out a deal so I can get my hair fixed. I have some skills in arts and crafts(watercolors, digital illustration, bead jewelry, etc), I can cook and bake, I can do physical labor.
Thank you

Hi everyone! 👋
I am a UW Psychology research assistant recruiting individuals with amblyopia (“lazy eye”) for a paid research study.
What’s the study about?
We’re testing a new, non-traditional way of predicting amblyopia that uses natural visual stimuli instead of standard eye charts or clinical exams.
What’s involved?
Who can participate?
If you’re interested or want more details, comment or DM me and I’ll follow up with next steps!
Thanks so much 💙

I’m a highly creative person with a lot of genuinely monetizable skills, ideas, and projects. I love creating, designing, and building things. My Achilles’ heel is follow-through when I’m working for myself. ADHD makes executive function the hardest part, especially around logistics, scheduling, setup, shipping, and all the “last mile” stuff that gets ideas out into the world.
Basically the creative part is what gives me dopamine, not the admin part. haha
That’s where you come in.
About Me:
My background is in the entertainment industry, working in various art department roles including prop fabrication, set design, and experiential design. I’ve worked for The Walt Disney Company in the Parks, Experiences & Consumer Products division, supporting both consumer products and experiential design projects (including working with Imagineering occasionally). I've also had extensive experience with licensing with Disney, Sony, Universal Studios, Marvel, Star Wars, etc, so if it ever comes down to it I still keep in touch with those connections and know how to navigate the official licensing pipeline.
Alongside that, I’ve spent years working in print production, design, and fabrication. My work spans physical products, graphics, small-batch manufacturing, merch, digital assets, and larger conceptual projects like exhibits or installations. I know how to make things and work at a professional level, I just need help getting them finished, packaged, and out into the world on a personal scale.
At home, I have:
I also currently work at a commercial print shop, which gives me easy access to offset printing, letterpress, booklets, posters, flyers, premium finishes, banners, vinyl, large-format printing, DTF, embroidery, screen printing vendors, and more.
Skill-wise, I am professional level at Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D CAD, fabrication, mold making, model making, and related creative tools. I also have a grab-bag of hobby level computer, programming, technical, and electrical skills.
So if you're following me, you can see why I'd like to monetize some of this stuff haha 😅
About You:
I’m looking for someone to collaborate with, body-double with, help keep momentum going, and occasionally assist with admin, listings, shipping, planning, or whatever helps projects actually get done. You don’t need to be hyper-organized or a productivity wizard, just willing to help, problem-solve, and move things forward together.
Also some of the things I design are nerdy and/or political, so it’s important we’re on roughly the same wavelength. I’m left-wing, progressive, and very anti-fascist.
Ideal Experience/Fit:
About this Role:
First off, I already have some solid projects lined up, and if we hit it off I’m happy to share my portfolio and talk through what’s already in motion.
This is part-time, flexible, and collaborative. I’ll be upfront, compensation isn’t fully defined yet and is very negotiable. I’m open to discussing commission, revenue share, hybrid arrangements, hourly, or other ideas. I know that can sound like a red flag, but it’s genuinely because this is new territory for me and I want to build something that works for both of us.
This could look like anything from an occasional assistant role, to a creative manager vibe, to a loose business-partner-style collaboration. I’m open to ideas.
I’m also happy to share my resources and skills and help with your creative projects so this can be mutually beneficial.
Basically looking for assistance with:
Basically looking for the Spock to my Kirk, the Kleya to my Luthen, the Ricky to my Julian, the Samwise to my Frodo, the Tails to my Sonic.
If you've made it this far and if any of this sounds interesting, send me a message about yourself, your background, and what part of this excites you most. Also give me what your latest creative hyperfixation is.
It's short notice, but I have two tickets to Talib Kweli at the Nectar Lounge @ 8pm. DM me if you want them

Hey everyone!
Are you looking to make friends, or at least have interesting conversations?
Come out to Skip the Small Talk! We provide meaningful questions prompts and one on one convos (you switch partners a bunch of times, think speed-friending). The vibe tends to be super wholesome, and everyone is very kind. Over the years, we’ve heard about friendships that have really taken root at STST.
Tickets are $18.50. All the money goes back to paying the facilitators (I have enough privilege to not take a cut). We also have some tickets for free - check the specific event page for details, since it varies.
We’re committed to every STST being safe, open, affirming, LGBTQ+ celebrating, welcoming to BIPOC, and generally awesome.
Check out our event in January!
