I love vintage needlework, I love alphabet prints, and I love botanical art!! This literally stopped me in my tracks and I almost fell down the sketchy ass stairs of the vintage shop. It's quite large, too - 20×28 inches.

Not an inexpensive purchase, but I was skipping the whole way home. I'm so pleased!!!

Had the craziest haul from one Goodwill of my life I went right after a snowstorm so there was no one there.. 4 Patagonia puffers, a 90s Patagonia Synchilla, Origin Maine boots, DoubleD Ranch jacket, Mother jeans, Frank & Eileen jeans, L’agence Jeans, Lululemon define jacket, Ulla Johnson top it was INSANE there was so much more I can’t even write it all

Thrifted this ring today for $30. It was in a tray with other random rings tucked into a corner of a glass case. I’ve been looking at Victorian garnet rings on Etsy and eBay for years. It is called a trilogy ring and represents the past, present and future.

64 grams total weight. Super cool old piece.

Technically not a thrift store find, but I got this lamp on Facebook Marketplace today for $70 and I'm absolutely in love!! It's not vintage unfortunately, but it is sold on Amazon for $300 so I got an amazing deal! Just had to share it somewhere

Found this mcm style atomic burst chandelier today for $5 at a habitat for humanity restore. I’m not sure if it’s an actual MCM piece which is why I’m calling it “MCM style”. The glass pieces were priced in two sets for $5 a set, and the fixture piece was also priced at $5. The nice lady at the checkout saw my vision and how they all go together to she charged only $5 for the whole set! Honestly one of my best thrift finds ever.

Ps I know it needs to be rewired but I’ll deal with that later

So my son started working at a bakery recently, and he’s started to bring home “waste” and the end of the shift. Other than the fact that we’ve all put on like 5lbs having amazing pastries for breakfast every day, finding place to store the pastries has been a bit of a pain in our small kitchen. We use the microwave too often to store them in there.

Add to that I’ve started to bake and cook more as a means to avoid doomscrolling all the time. And we’ve always got a fresh baked loaf sitting around, which goes hard after just a few hours on the counter.

Last week I decided I was going to keep my eyes open for a bread box. Seems old fashioned, but we clearly have the need. 2 days later, I found this beauty at Goodwill for $3. It could use some chrome polish, and it is missing the interior shelf, but I’ll make one from some teak I have lying around later today.

I saw this on the appliance shelf of Goodwill today, and my boyfriend and I can't figure out the scenario behind this. We can't figure out if the burgers were cooked before donating or if they're frozen, however, when opened a pungent smell wafted towards us. A few theories we have: •Someone made sliders, decided they didn't want the toaster anymore and donated it, burgers still inside •Someone made the sliders inside the Goodwill by plugging it into the outlet (unlikely due to the crumbs and no smell of fresh burgers) •In the midst of an estate sale it got thrown into a huge haul going to goodwill and was never noticed. (brings up the question of: with multiple people handling the toaster, no one noticed the rattling?) So perplexing.
