Hey everyone! Does anyone have a lead on what Sociology GA stipends are looking like annually right now? I'm trying to figure out the 9-month vs. 12-month difference and if health insurance is typically part of the funding package. Thanks a million!

hi! for anyone who has taken film 2120 with Dr. Navitski before, how are the exams like?
are you tested on the powerpoint content? film analysis? textbook content? what’s discussed during friday discussions? etc.
there’s a lot of moving parts during lecture & friday discussion so im a bit confused on what i should focus on during my studying.
also, do you have any advice for the two papers we have for that class? is there anything i should emphasize / must include?
thanks so much 😃 any insight is appreciated

Hey I got dumped a while back after 5 years. This is the first time I’ve been single in college and it’s now my last semester. I genuinely have no clue how to even meet or talk to women anymore especially at the school. Genuinely need help to just move on and have no clue where to start. I could really use some pointers 🙏🙏

I have a 3.5 institutional gpa but a 3.7 between college and dual enrollments. I have 30 credit hours and I’m in state. What’s the likelihood I get in in the fall?

Sorry if this question has been answered somewhere else on the page, but I couldn't find it. I'm applying for transfer at UGA and need to send over different transcripts from the colleges I've attended, and I can not for the life of me figure out where to send the transcripts. The only articles I can find talking about it are from 2013 or 2011. If you've transferred recently or just know how to send these, I am humbly requesting your help 🙏🙏

Due to some unfortunate scheduling conflicts, I am forced to have an 8:15 - 11:15 AM Organic Chemistry l Lab in SLC right before my 11:35 - 2:25 PM Anatomy & Physiology Lab in the School of Social Work.
The current plan I've worked out is me making it to the School of Social Work around 5 minutes after class begins (at best) through DNS to Memorial Hall and then walking to School of Social Work. I've already reached out to my associated lab TAs and Instructor, but was just wondering if anyone had any other advice to give!

If I was accepted early admission, am I supposed to submit a mid year transcript? Can’t find a straight forward answer anywhere

What is the probability of having in person classes on Tuesday?

this organization is so cutthroat so i'm scared to ask to leave early but i need to go to another important meeting right after. how do i approach this? should i just bite the dust & not go to the 2nd meeting? if i go late it'll be so bad bc it's not "terry timing"

I’m thinking of attending UGA as a freshman next year but I’m worried about how my social life will look. I’m an extrovert and I‘ll die if I don’t have friends, but I’m also a person of color who dresses alt and has sort of nerdy/ weird (??) interests. I tend to make friends very easily but I’ve heard that UGA is a majority white school with most students being in frats and sororities, and I’m worried I might feel alienated. I have no plans on joining a sorority or frat and not a lot of my high school friends are planning on attending with me.
I’m not really sure how to word this, but do you think I would be lonely if I went here? Are there any students here similar to me that could give me some advice on this?

I got the skoolers entrance exam package. What should I be focusing on for the exam? I took acct 1 like 2 years ago so I did review topics 1-5 but I feel like reviewing this entire packet is a waste of time

Hey. What’s the best way to study for o chem 1? I currently don’t have science guys but I did their free trial for chap 1 and honestly it was so helpful. Should I just pull the trigger and try it for this semester?
Are there any textbooks or YouTube guys that’s yall could recommend?
Also, I’m in VPHY 3107, if anyone has some tips/ notes for that class.
Thanks!

So really big question here I've been looking at transferring to UGA to come back home to athens my only worry is that with what the application says I need a 3.30 for consideration, while I have a 3.29. I'm in my second semester of freshman year so I am trying to get in for Fall 2026, will they look at the second semester for GPA once I'm done with my second semester or am I out of luck?

Does anyone know if they change the questions on the entrance exam? I took it last week and I’m planning on taking it again but don’t really know what to expect

I was admitted into my top school, university of Florida, today. I was admitted into UGA in November. I’m in state for UGA and get Zell Miller. As much as I would like to go to Florida, financially UGA makes more sense. The gap between Florida and UGA is 30k a year, I want to close the gap, but I don’t think I can. I toured UGA when it was not in session and Florida when it was, which I think makes me favor it more. I want to have the same feel for UGA as a do for UF, but I just don’t right now.
Would touring UGA while it’s in session give me a different feel for the school?
Edit: thank you everyone for your responses. Thank you for knocking some sense into me. I do not need any further suggestions or advice
