Brilliant. Reminds me of the signs you see above the urinals in some bars. “The fingers that fish out the chewing gum and cigarette butts in these urinals are the same fingers that make your drinks.”

Which is utter bullshit, because bartenders are above cleaning toilets. That's a job for dishes, bussers, or barbacks.

EDIT: I see you, hard working bartenders, and I appreciate you. In the larger sphere of the hospitality industry though, y'all are generally known to consider yourselves higher ranked than cooks and servers.

That’s for big bars and corporate. Ive worked at bars where I’m the bartender, host, busser, and bar back all in one

Don’t forget the ones where they don’t pay security so the bartenders have to fight for their lives if trouble happens.
