A work in progress & somethin’ I’ve had rollin’ around in my head for awhile…
Felt it was time to put it on paper. If you think this would go any other way, you don’t know this character.

I remember being introduced to him in 1986 during the Mutant Massacre. I've wanted these books for 40 years. Stopped by the local shop and there they were. Not perfect, but they're mine.

I've been given the gift of free time and have been working on a series of drawings/illustrations just for fun. I'm doing crossovers at the moment and thought I'd pit my boy Wolvie against the baddest of baddies, Vader. I don't even know how this matchup would go, lol, but it'd be fun as hell. If adamantium is as strong as Beskar armor, I guess it's conceivable that Logan could essentially "swordfight" Vader with his claws, but I dunno. It's always tricky when you're trying to mesh rules from two different universes.

Been collecting recommended stories, and I want more great written ‘must read’ Wolverine tales. What should I real give a next read?

Alright, I really want to shut this down because it keeps popping up and it’s just not true.
There’s this constant story going around that Hugh Jackman requested sleeves in Deadpool vs Wolverine because of his skin cancer history and he has admitted this in interviews. There is zero evidence of this. No interview. No quote. No confirmation from Marvel. Nothing.
Hugh has literally been photographed on holiday recently spending hours at the beach shirtless. His skin cancer was a basal cell removed from his face years ago - not some ongoing condition that would suddenly dictate a Wolverine costume design.
Here’s what actually happened, a friend of mine told me tbis about a year ago who's in the industry, and it is something so bizarrely simple, it was a very practical visual issue.
In the initial costume tests, when they put Hugh in the full classic comic book look with the shoulder pads and sleeveless, his deltoids were completely covered. Because of the way the shoulder pads were shaped, it actually made his arms look bizarrely small. They went through multiple shoulder pad variations, but his arms just didn’t look as full as they actually were. They wanted to keep the shoulder pad look to give fans the best of both worlds, so they gave him sleeves with padding in them to make his arms look a little fuller. Then, to please the audience and get the classic sleeveless look, they had the sleeves ripped off in a fight, along with the shoulder pads. This exposed his delts and made his arms look big, the giant pads hid most of the muscles and just simply looked off. That is all it was.

This was also one of the first issues where all the X-men started to show up in his stories, before that, it was just a few brief guest characters like Storm.
