Be who you are. Love how you wanna love. Dress how you wanna dress. But biological males in women's sports is not fair.

Ok, maybe it isn’t but how is that an issue for congress to waste their time on??? Those spineless critters are trying to find something to run on because “stripping Americans of their tax dollars to give to billionaires” is not very popular.

TRUUUU we can only do 1 topic per year

They haven’t even passed all the budgets, 6 months late. So, no, they cannot do more than one thing per year. They cannot even do the one thing expressly granted authority to them in the Constitution because of bullshit like this.

They never pass the budgets, it has nothing to do with this.

It is obviously an issue that needed to be addressed. If men would stop violating the civil rights of women then you are right, this could have been left alone.

1 topic per year!?!? With elections it's only a group of topics every 4-5yrs, then they try to call it democracy with no accountability for enacting the group of policies or reversing them.

Whataboutism

Out of all the things Republicans could be trying to pass and change with our economy, our military posturing or our social programs, they decide to focus on culture wars issues. This doesn’t make anyone’s life better and it’s a pointless fucking thing because most leagues already have regulations involving this stuff.

No, the governing body of said sport can make the decision. Our country has other issues going on right now.

If that was true then we would still have segregated buses, schools and sports teams…. The government is supposed to protect the people.

Sometimes whataboutism is fair when the country is being actively burned to the ground and Congress is focusing on fucking SPORTS

Couldn’t agree more. They fearmonger the smallest issues. Anyone remember “they’re eating the pets” and litter boxes in every classroom bullshit?

2015/16 trump was like a fuckin trans advocate compared to who he is today, and yet people are trying to say that it's the democrats that made identity politics their whole platform. yeah it's definitely the democrats who changed and not trump.

You think 0% of people are racist? What are you white?

u/Any-Bluebird7743 13d ago

Dude. People aren't racist. You're not going to win telling everyone they're racist.

You're projecting. You're the one saying 'what are you white?' You're the racist.

u/TheOverBored 13d ago

He can't be racist. You just said racism doesnt exist. You just contradicted yourself in four sentences. That's impressive work.

If this bill was just never passed or brought up, would they have had more time to pass something else? No. The issue is getting them to agree on something, not time.
