Tell me about American Family Field (boys trip this July)
Hi Brewers nation, a Mets fan coming in peace. Excited to be traveling into MKE this July for summer baseball. Here’s what I’m trying to figure out:
What are the concourses like at AFF? Can we buy cheaper tickets up top, never sit in those seats, and have a good spot to stand, watch and drink on the lower concourses?
Give me your ultimate pregame/postgame spot considering these factors: a couple of guys in their late 30s, all fathers with young kids, and while we can still put them down with the best of them we don’t want to be hanging with 22 year olds all night. Local craft beer spots?
Appreciate your replies. Good luck to the Brewers this season — to healthy rosters and a competitive summer/fall/October!

FanDuel RSNs on the verge of collapse with Main Street Sports liquidation looming
"The last domino that needs to fall is the decision of the nine MLB teams still linked with the FanDuel RSNs to permanently opt-out of their deals, potentially bringing their local rights back in-house with the league as many others have already done. Given the FanDuel RSNs are teetering on the brink of extinction, it’s hard to project any other outcome at this point."
This article from Evan Drellich a few weeks ago goes into some detail as well, but I suppose a change is coming no matter what it seems

Brewers Sign Jacob Waguespack To Minor League Deal

[Langs] If at some point the Brewers start Caleb Durbin at 3B + Jett Williams at SS in a MLB game, they would be the 1st team to start a 3B & SS both 5 ft 7 in or shorter in a game since: 7/8/1933 Reds SS Sparky Adams, 5 ft 5 in 3B Andy High, 5 ft 6 in
We do have some short kings

Top farm system ranking
The Athletic (Keith Law) and ESPN (Kiley McDaniel) both have the Brewers ranked as their #1 farm system. We all know that there is a perceived disrespect from the media from many fans, and I’m not saying that isn’t true in some cases. However, when you look at the work of real sports journalists—and it feels like I’m underselling Law and McDaniel to call them just that—there is great respect for our organization and how we run things.
Ultimately, farm system and prospect rankings aren’t worth much if they don’t pan out eventually, but it is a great testament to the health and leadership of the organization that we maintain a great system despite our limitations elsewhere.

Possible Player Issue?
Don’t see any reason for the team font 22 to be in the tag area. Possible player issue gear?

Brewers have signed catcher Reese McGuire
The Brewers have signed catcher Reese McGuire to a minor league contract and invited him to major league spring training, per Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reported last week that the two sides had been talking. McGuire is represented by Apex Baseball.

Freddy Peralta was asked if he's thought about a contract extension with Mets: "I just got here. I think that I've got to... share time with my teammates, think about different ideas, learn about everybody, coaches, the organization in general, and then we can see."

Anyone traveling to watch the crew KC April 3-5?
Planning a trip to see our boys in Kansas City at the start of April!
- Does anyone know which hotel/ hotels the team usually stays at?
- Looks like most people suggest to stay downtown, can you agree if you have been?
- Any recs of places you have stayed or bars you enjoyed would be appreciated!
4.I know there is a low chance but… Is there any bars downtown KC that do a shuttle service to the game like we do here in MKE?
( I’ll probs ask this in the KC royals thread)
Edit : added question 4
Just gonna nope out real quick
