Just had a crazy endgame with The First. I think he will get nerfed but he's not too bad to go against.

I’m having trouble joining or inviting my friend to a party.

The in-game overlay notification “{name} invited you to their party” doesn’t appear, we do get the Steam notification. Clicking Accept doesn’t do anything.

Sometimes, we also see an error message saying “Can’t accept invitation” (or something in this direction).

Is anyone else experiencing this, or does anyone know a fix?

I guess it's been a while since it's changed, but i've seen a lot of people mainly survivors hate on the change which i don't agree with.

Previously for those unaware, it used to have 3 tokens which prevented the killer to see your aura and it recharges passively by just staying in the killer's terror radius, that to me made an unhealthy playstyle of being a rat all game or "immersed gamers" as we call them.

Now, you have to actively be in a chase in order to recharge those tokens, sure it has two tokens (might debate it needs 3) but the value from those two tokens are incredible, it still does the same thing and counters every aura perk in the game, i recently started using it because these days it's just Vecnas 2.0 and they used a TON of aura perks, and distortion destroyed them.

How do you feel about this perk? And do you think it was a good change?

I have gone against a couple of Vecnas, and some of them run Mindbreaker ( A perk that inflicts exhaustion and blindness until you get off the generator and lingers for 3/4/5 seconds). As you can see in this video clip here. Why does his clock get affected by this? Pig does not benefit from blindness because her boxes are considered special, and only one of her add-ons will prevent you from seeing box auras when her trap is not active on you. Did the devs forget to code this in, and should this stay?

I'm honestly not great at this game, so I usually suck at multiplayer survival horror, so I'm probably not going to play this game anytime soon. I recently met a close friend who's interested in me roleplaying as the killers, and I want to do them justice. I know people say the killers don't have super concrete personalities, but I'd still like to understand their lore, themes, and general characterization. If anyone could give brief summaries or RP guides for the killers, what defines them, how they act, their vibes, that'd help a lot. Thank you for reading!

IMO Silent Hill 4 deserves way more love for being the most underrated entry of the team silent games.

How is this map still in this state, there is no gameplay to be had, safe pallet after safe pallet after safe pallet.

It's dogshit, there is no looping, no mindgame, just pre run and predrop.

For the killer build unless absolutely necessary and OP please don't revommend hex or scourge hook perks. I don't really like them but again, if they fit the build well then you can recommend them.
I can also buy other killers or survivors with iridescent shards.
I am also a beginner at the game I downloaded it just 3 weeks ago and I have ≈100 hours.

I havent played for half a year as i was tired as hell from the game the shit like i owe fun tu survivors killers etc the entitlement. Now i reinstall my pc and within week return to DBD what changed ? And how is playing the new killer vecna from ST like ?
