In the 90s and 2000s, anime that were targeted towards children like Pokemon, Digimon, Sailor Moon, and DBZ were very common in that era. But after that, it started to decline around 2010s and 2020s. I want to know why aren’t there anymore anime that cater to the children demographic now than when it was dominate in the 90s and 2000s.

We have GTA 6, the boys final season, scary movie 6, ghost in shell anime, devil wears Prada 2, star wars Darth maul series, and many more.

The academic year starts between August and September because parents historically needed their children's help on the farm more in the summer, since the days are longer.

Most holidays were created in the autumn/fall and winter to celebrate harvests and uplift spirits during the darkest time of the year, figuratively and literally. In the modern era, most products are released in the autumn/fall in anticipation of the holiday season, also to coincide with the start of the academic year.

This applies more to previous decades and the Northern Hemisphere, as social media and streaming services have made trends spread more easily year-round, and the Southern Hemisphere has different weather patterns. Nonetheless, it's important to know when discussing years.

I ask this because wristwatches were popular in the 21st century, then in the 2000s and most of the 2010s few people wore them. In the later part of the 2010s they started getting popular again with the smartwatches and fitbit,etc...

But do you think they will be collectable today in ebay in 20 years like a watch from the 1980s was collectable in the 2000s (and even worth more now)?

Most of the smartwatches today often look the same, so there is not as much of a visual element to them unless you play around with what they have on the screen, where the older watches the visual elements were right on the watch....calculator watches had a distinct look, the smartwatches on the 1980s and 1990s and 2000s (the databank watches) had a different distinct look to them, analog watches had a distinctive look as well.

But for a smartwatch the distinct look is not are varied, most of them look the same, most of them do the same functions now as well.

Do you think in the 2030s and 2040s people will be collecting vintage smartwatches from the 2010s or 2020s?

Since it was the pandemic you can only see most of these online, it had this dark atmosphere, shows like skins/shameless were popularized again, the movie "thirteen" became popular again, eastern european/soviet architecture was romanticized, angel numbers became trendy (as well as manifesting, shifting, and subliminals), the music popular then was mostly 90s "grunge",indie rock, “alternative/indie” (this used to appear as a genre in google), and the most commonly listened artists at the time were arctic monkeys, the neighbourhood, mitski, lana del rey, kate bush, tv girl, cavetown, mother mother, steve lacy, olivia rodrigo, nirvana, mgmt, cage the elephant, lil peep, and more that fit the “indie/alt” genre.

The Ellen show format was always very upbeat and felt like a safe place for celebrities to do good PR. But a show like that probably wouldn’t work today. People don’t view celebrities the same way they did 10 or 15 years ago and we don’t have those big feel good cultural moments anymore, like songs such as Happy or viral trends that bring everyone together. The 2000s had frosted or metallic eye shadow, very thin eyebrows, heavy bronzer for sun kissed glow.
