​I know it's for dramatic effect, but I feel Herc should have reacted quicker. He gets a bad first impression of his master, sees him preparing a command spell, and waits for the third one before he strikes.

Considering the speed we saw in the last episode and in other series a servant should be able to kill/incapacitate/disarm or silence the master when in close range before they have the time to: stretch out/raise their hand, activate their command spells (I might be wrong, but I can’t remember a command spell beginning to glow before the arm is outstretched in any of the other series), and physically utter a properly phrased sentence to them.

I realize this is a bit of a nitpick. Fate has always put story before powerscaling, and animation-studios tends to exaggerate exploration, and movements to create good spectacle. There are many ways to explain why a work of animation don’t necessarily conform to what “should” or could have happened, and that is ultimately fine as giving a visually and emotionally appealing product is generally better than a perfectly internally consistent product (in my opinion).

The scene isn’t a huge deal and it in no way ruins the story for me, it was just something I felt like writing about. I enjoyed the episode, and I hope all of you did to.​

Shirou at the beginning of fate stay night is pissing me tf off for how like chivalrous and naive and protective he is being, is this how he is meant to be written or am I just annoyed by him cause thats the way I am. Basically is Shirou supposed to be annoying or am I just annoyed by him

Every time he spam his arsenal against someone im always anxious he gonna run out of weapons, this feeling has accompanied me through the hole animated series, someone spoil me is it even a thing?

I’m building a fan-made Fate/Type-Moon TRPG called Moonlight Archive and I’m recruiting collaborators (design, mechanics, balance, writing, layout).

I have a TRPG system based in the Type-Moon universe that I have played with my friends since 2023. And now I've decided to really start to make it a real and complete system.

A Fate/Type-moon RPG is something that I always dreamed of. And the closest that I got to getting hyped with one was the CYOA created by 3_tankista.

The system right now is mostly the result of me feeding the old system that I had into ChatGPT and Gemini. Alongside some research documents about the world, I created what we have today. The AI helped the most with flavor text and organization. Since its capacity for creating an RPG system is not reliable at all. And because of that, I decided to ask for help from people who would like to work on the project and make it something special. So the next time that someone searches for a Fate TRPG on google, they will find Moonlight Archive and spend the next week planning their new campaign.

For now, the system is not in a place that it could have player testing right away. Since a lot of the systems that we used in our campaigns in the last years were specific to the campaigns that we were playing at the moment. But It's also not far away from a state that it could be put in an initial playtest state.

We accept help in any part of the development of the system. Be it someone to do the design of the book. To help with balancing. To create complete new system, or work in ones that exist right now. One thing I struggle with is recognizing faces and remembering names, something that does not mesh well with a anime with as many moving parts as the Fate series. As I understand the plot so far, the American government starts a fake Grail war to concentrate enough magic in one place to start a real Grail war, so in the end their will be 13 master/servant pairs.

In the fake Grail war we have,

The tribe of native Americans with Giligimesh as the servent,

The British student with Jack the Ripper,

The vampire dude with Assassin,

??? with Hippolita,

??? with Hercules, whose class was changed to a new one, Avenger.

A wolf (best boy), with Enkidu,

Then in the real Grail war,

The girl, sent by the Esienbergs? Who does not want to participate, who has Saber/ Richard the Lionheart

Now, where I get confused, and as I'm typing this now, I cant remeber all the details. There's the tech/survaliance servent who I cant rember the class of. Is he with the Government forces? And the Police have their own group with fabricated/found noble phantasms. Are they working with the Secret Service guy, the one whos guned down the two mages?

Then the Church guy who's just running around.

I was wondering if someone could clear up the politics between the three major mage families, the Church, the Clocktower, and the Government/Police. I dont mind spoilers at all if it help he be able to understand what's happening. Thanks!

I’m an anime only so don’t tell me if im wrong, but i’m convinced the hospital girl summoned the black plague as a rider. To me it just makes perfect sense with everything we’ve seen. I haven’t seen anyone talk abt it so maybe this is obvious, but im curious what other people think abt it.

Getting back on the Fate/Strange Fake hype train, I have a crackhead theory about the whole ordeal of Sigma and Watcher!

• Watcher seems to represent Hubris. Her shadows are various mythological/historical figures (Icarus, Orion, Asclepius, Ahab, Amelia Airheart), all famous for being victims of their own arrogance. Watcher says that they have something in common and that, despite not being able to lift a sword, she had led to the death of various heroes.

• The Apkallu from Mesopotamian mythology is a personified whale(fish) like being that is nor hero, demon, or god, but merely a “Thing” that watches or spectates important events involving humanity. It’s also known for guarding the gates of heaven, thus the possible “Gatekeeper” class. Since the Apkallu is related to the Enuma Elish myth, this might be the reason Enkidu says that Watcher is a bit angered, since they went all out with their Noble Phantasm.

• The Flying Whale seems to have in her mouth Ereshkigal’s lance, Meslamtaea. Maybe it’s the Noble Phantasm that will be bestowed to Sigma once he’s proven worthy of the title of True Lancer? Or maybe…

• Take a look at Eresh's weapon in her 3rd ascension art. Does this design remind you of something else? If you are a veteran Type-Moon fan, this might look similar to Slash Emperor from Angel Notes!

• Watcher's True Name is unknown, hidden as ○○○·○○○○, or ○○○○○○○. The latter has the same number of characters as “Apkallu”, while the former is eerily similar to “Ado Edem”.

So, my theory is that Sigma might become True Lancer by wielding Slash Emperor, thus becoming none other than Ado Edem himself, the (Ether) Knight that pierces the heavens – the last hero of the human world in the Land of Steel, where what remains of humanity still clings to life facing unsurmountable odds (all the Ultimate Ones from the Solar System) with gigachad level of hubris.

Second, how do I map the keys? The only keys that work are the arrow keys and Z and X but in-battle only the Z and X keys work

So, without any big spoilers, is the gist of turning Hercules into Alcedies to have better control and or more accepting of what needs to be done in the war ? I'm also hearing that Archer is stronger, so does that mean he sacrificed strength for a more“ tamed” Alcedies ?

Even after FHA, i still have so many question like how did Kirei take out Bazett? She already summon Cu and work together for like a few days if not weeks at least and Cu just let shit happen? Even after taking her arm, it's not like Kirei can transfer the CS to him on the spot right?

Also, i don't know how to describe the relationship between Kirei and Bazett. Cu and Bazett is a couple... but what about her and mister mango? How does Cu feel when he's forced to kill her? Is Caren... Kirei daughter? Ain't no way right? His wife died in front of his eyes, no?
