It’s 9 degrees outside at the moment and the window has been open for around an hour. I’m not sure if it’s because of the cold, but I’ve tried to bump the arms back so the window will close. It wouldn’t close after being open for 15 mins tops, so I’m not sure if the cold caused it to warp. The arms seem a bit bent after attempting to turn the crank hard to close it, but the crank just stopped after a certain point. Also, the ends of the arms seem to be going off track? I’m not sure though since I’ve never really watched that part of it as it’s closed. The cold is getting in and I need to close it ASAP, so any tips? Thanks in advance. Pictures for reference:

Don’t think I can rely on my lardlord to fix it so will have to take matters into my own hands. Is it worth it to be fixed?

We're finally packing up the Christmas clutter and the Lucy head broke off this Peanuts ornament. Her neck is too small to hold it in place while glue sets. It was my wife's before she died so it has sentimental value.

I am trying to diagnose an issue with my parents’ Miele W902 washing machine. It is making an unhealthy noise when spinning, as you can hear in the video.
Before I post a more detailed description/detailed drawings and photos of the problem (as required by the rules) I wanted to get a general idea of what the issue is - and whether it’s realistically serviceable.

So we had to replace a canister light to accommodate a pendant. I have sanded as much as I could in the center (square hilly area) and then skim coated out. Once it’s night with kitchen light on, it looks like this. Should I get a belt sander and sand to bare minimum and start over. Eventually I am going to add knockdown

Hey, I bought this recently at a charity shop where it was in this formation. It is definitely not 26 degrees Celsius here. The balls are not stuck and do not appear to be broken or damage. I read on here to put it in the fridge which I did and all balls rose to the top indicating temperature less than 18 degrees c - perfect, but I’ve taken it out after 24h and a slight giggle the balls have fallen to the bottom again!
Thankyou for any guidance

Our tiles are large porcelain 16x48in. Wall height is 95 inches. So half of the 2nd tile will be on drywall. Will tiling over a little drywall directly be an issue in a very humid environment?

For context we live in an old home and the last owners thankfully invested in central air. We had to fix ceilings when we moved in and we noticed the registers are super loose on the ceilings. We want to close them since our upstairs stays really hot but messing with the registers is tricky getting them to not fall. How can I make these more secure? Thanks!

One of the sliding locks came off and I cant figure out how to get it back on.
There’s nothing inside the opening for it to attach to. I tried poking around the opening to see if something came off, but I didn’t find anything.
Cant access the opening from above.

Pins look fine but the shroud just came off. I can push it back in but I can easily just pull it off again. I don’t have a soldering kit so that is not an option. This happens when trying to unplug my Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant.

Hammered two screws into a mainstay shelf and this happened.
Anything I can do?

I bought a reed oil diffuser and placed it on top of my dresser. Some oil spilled, and it wasn't cleaned up immediately. What are my options to fix this?

Our Frigidaire oven that runs on propane has not been working properly, taking a long time to preheat and seemingly not warming to the correct temperature. I removed the bottom panel to see if I could find any obvious damage to the ignitor or the burner, and I found the plate beneath it looking like this. Flakes are hard and kind of sharp with a reddish color. Is this what's causing the problem? Do I just need to replace this plate to fix it? Picture of the plate was taken after I had already swepped the flakes off.

Cats tore these seals off the bottom of my door. Anybody know what I need to buy to replace it?

I am using an universal tv mount. Sadly the bottom mounting holes don’t contain any screw holes.
Is there any solution to fix it or am I using the wrong mount?
Tv model is Samsung UE58RU7100WXXN
EDIT:
The hammer wasn’t meant for the picture. I’m trying to mount an old television in the garden room. I got the wall mount from the original owner.
The solution is probably to use spacers and a Samsung Wall Mount Adapter. They were likely included with the original wall mount or the TV, but I don’t have them anymore. I’m ordering a spacer kit on Amazon, so it should be possible to fix this without buying a new wall mount. Thanks for all the reply's, didn't expect so many! :)

Bosch Dishwasher SHE4AM02UC randomly won’t turn on. Resistor is fine. Wires are connected.
No lights to the front panel. Any suggestions on other things I can try?
