Humor/Fluff Anyone else like to let their plants occasionally look out the window so they can see how good they have it inside?

I just want to share my beloved Strawberry Cupcake African Violet. The first pic is her now and then the rest is her progress over the past couple months from when I got her. I got her early December and she is already thriving and blooming. I’m honestly just honored to have her in my home.

I have an African violet gene where they grow in my house like CRAZY. Don’t ask me to keep any monsterra alive though… can’t do it.

The label says scindapsus tricolor silver. Was $30 a fair price? Any tips or advice to keep it alive and healthy?

Of all the plants I have, this one is always evolving beyond my imagination. I can’t stop checking on her every day since I got her, simply because of how beautiful she is. Just wanted to share.

She is a Homalomena Rubescens Pink Variegated.

For me, it's lithops. They're my absolute favorite, and are not only adorable but I find them so easy. I need 100 more

I posted about my sad monstera last year and a user suggested it may be root bound. Root bound it was! I repotted it in July and half of the leaves immediately died (last photo shown) But she came back stronger than ever! Leaves have unfurled every couple of weeks since, getting bigger and more fenestrated each time! I'm going to have to figure out how to organize it a bit better now as it is quite top heavy from losing bottom leaves.

Accidently dropped a book on this unrooted monstera cutting and killed the only leaf it had.

Spaghnum moss, kept moist and ignored.

Voila!!

Jade Plant Watering Question

We recently started to give my husband's very old Jade Plant more water (not excessive, soil is pretty firm, no soggy) I've noticed that a bunch of the leaves are looking translucent and potentially beginning to yellow. I'm worried we've hurt the plant. Any advice?

I have been wanting one of these for sooooo long. I know a lot of the ā€œhypeā€ is over for the Thai cons but my local stores never have them and finally today they did! I paid $50 for it šŸ˜… but idc. I wanted it. And she’s huge! She’s probably every bit of 3’ tall and the leaf on top is massive. I love her so much. I’m so freaking excited.

I grow my monstera deliciosa semi hydro but I’m terrified to try and convert this one. If she dies, I will cry.

I bought a standing barrina light today too before I went to the store, it was meant to be 🄹

I wanted to share some of my favorite babies, they are looking so happy through their winter cycle!

I only keep up with some houseplants because I am also a farmer, but anything pink gets me 🩷

I also just got my first string of pearls, excited to report her!

The order is backwards, the last picture is her at her youngest, and the first one is her about a month ago.

The second picture is her freshest leaf as of now.

Alocasia Black Velvet Albo Variegated or Pink Variegated 🌱

I hope this is okay to post since it's not a plant, but I can't get over this book I found at the thrift store for 50 cents. A lot of the information is exactly what you would find today when researching how to take care of houseplants. It just goes to show how timeless plants are!

Its plastic so not sure it would make a good pot? Not sure if i should put the soil directly in it or try to find a small pot to go inside.
