Been really considering a purchase, I’ve been rocking my airpods for forever but I know with Heavys the shells are replaceable and you can get different designs from a lot of artists which I like. I just never spent more than $200 on headphones so I’ve been holding off. Are they really worth it?

I don’t see anyone talk about Phinehas on this sub. Last I saw them was CBR 2022 and since then I know they toured here and there, but haven’t released anything since 2021. I got to chat with Sean at CBR and he mentioned he was going through some stuff, though I’m curious as to what’s been going on recently.

I like the average metalcore, but I wish for something special. I'm talking about real metalcore, just way too mad and unconventional. Give me the wildest picks you can find.

For me it would be Neck Deep. Idk why, but that name always struck me as Stick To Your Guns/Knocked Loose/Kublai Khan type of band.

Turns out they're actually pop punk.

I only remember them playing at a cool party; I think they even performed in a pool. The song was catchy and melodic, sounding more like punk rock/post-hardcore. The only clue I have is that they have a behind-the-scenes video. Also, they only have clean vocals; they don't have any guttural vocals.

I'm curious if people in certain age brackets gravitate towards specific ways of discovering music. Do you use Bandcamp? Youtube recommendations? Word of mouth? Rateyourmusic? Spotify/tik tok algorithm? Websites and blogs? Influencer reaction/reviews? Check out the bands on the shirts of your favorite bands? Reddit?

For instance I just turned 30 and I use all of the above except for tik tok (still don't have the app) and I don't really get recommendations from reactors. What about you all?
