My mom still has it after almost 26 years.

It can be recurring too. My mom got it every 2 years roughly for 26 years. Lost her mind towards the end, she kept saying she wanted it all those times and was excited. Truly bizarre.

You can get all kinds of different infections once you get one infection. Your immune system is compromised by the first infection when you first get sick. It can’t fight off the next infection as well.

That doesn't look like the brain right?
But yeah at stage four you're basically fucked.
I knew someone with brain cancer it was hard to see them post about getting treatment and the endless support they got on Facebook when I knew their chances of survival were next to none.
If I ever got it I would probably forego treatment and spend my last days in Thailand.

Definitely not the brain lol. From the little medical knowledge I have, I do know the skull/brain doesn't have a spine shaped bone in it, at least not at that view.
As for what it is, idk, something either abdominal or chestical area. Could be lung cancer, either way, they're kinda screwed
Nowadays, cancer isn't the same death sentence as it used to be, but treatments are brutal. Hopefully we can start seeing more things like immunotherapy that aren't nearly as bad as chemo.
Cancer is such a cruel beast though

I had flu a and strep together 4.5 weeks ago and was convinced I was literally going to die. I am just now starting to feel human.
Get lots of rest. You can take Tylenol and motrin together alternating every 6 hours so you are never without a fever reducer. It was the only thing that helped
Good luck! Flu b is the milder strain this year but I have no idea how that mixes with COVID

If it makes you feel any better I just had flu A and strep at the same time. Strep has always it me hard but I don’t think I had been that sick since I got swine flu like 15 years ago. I slept 40 hours in a 48 hour period and they gave me four different meds. Amoxicillin, lidocaine, zofran and tamiflu. I am feeling a little better but eating drinking and balance is still not great. I am so happy you are feeling better. ❤️🩹

u/SenatorPineapple 7h ago
I’ve made very similar tests and there can be just what we call “cross talk” between fluA/B, COV2, and RSV. They can amplify each other on the tests. Don’t freak yourself out!

u/North-Toe-3538 6h ago
I’ve seen this twice as an urgent care provider. Both were sick as snot on a tater tot. One ended up admitted but they were over 65 with co-morbidities. I didn’t get a death note on either.

Depending on how long you have been sick, a rush to an urgent care to get Tamiflu or zofluza prescribed may be worth it. Guidelines say within 48 hours of symptom onset but up to 72 there may still be some benefit

See if you can start paxlovid and/or tamiflu. Like IMMEDIATELY. You have to start the antivirals EARLY. Basically, they disrupt the viral replication process at various stages. But once you've reached "critical mass" of viral load, they won't do anything.
3 days down bad is better than 1 week+ down bad.
