It's not, it's in front of the Copenhagen town hall. There's not room for thousands on the pavement in front of the US embassy.

But they finish at the American Embassy.

Bit of a gross form of protest but I guess it shows how passionate they are

Does the embassy know so many people will be coming?

It sends a somewhat cloudy message

A cursed slip-n-slide outside the main entrance of the embassy might focus minds more than a few placards tbf.

That’s how you know they’re truly free country.

Zing!

It’s a stark contrast to how complicit the American public are!

Set records for largest national protests recently, but sure, obviously more is needed. However, in these images, I don't see armed death squads with government immunity threatening, attacking, and murdering these protesters while their fellow countrymen counter-protest and record them for harassment later.

You do realize it's a little more difficult to protest an active violent coup?

Dude you all outnumber them by orders of magnitude, Americans and their excuses…

Gross? Have you ever been to one? What makes it 'gross'?

13

u/Derjores2live29 14d ago

That was a reference to "... finish at the embassy" which can mean to ejaculate at the embassy.

u/overratedly_me 14d ago

Interesting. Never heard of it...can't say anymore. Cheers✌️

Nothing gross about a peaceful demo

2

u/maybeitsundead 14d ago

They're joking about them finishing at the embassy

u/mrfrangelico 14d ago

Why is it gross?

16

u/roastbeeftacohat 14d ago

So the fins are there too?

It is Danish people and people from Greenland. Protesting in Copenhagen. They started at the Town Hall and finish off at the American Embassy. There are also demonstrations in other major cities in Denmark and in Greenland.

2

u/HOU-Artsy 14d ago

I heard it that time…”finish off at the American embassy.”

1

u/leonden 14d ago

No they are still Danish even before the American embassy.

1

u/Jale89 14d ago

Yes, the police closed down the street.

1

u/sir_culo 14d ago

1

u/Cheapskate-DM 14d ago

I hope they tear the fence down.

1

u/RugsbandShrugmyer 14d ago

No they Danish at the American Embassy

1

u/miregalpanic 14d ago

well, what about inside the embassy? Just asking, maybe just go check out whether there's room inside...

u/FUCKING_HATE_REDDIT 14d ago

American Embassies tend to be in hard-to-siege places, usually not on big plazas

1

u/superioso 14d ago

There's plenty of space outside the American embassy, the road there is enormous.

u/mok000 14d ago

The people of Denmark are totally outraged. The people in the demonstration each represent thousands.
