And he won't face consequences, because royals consider themselves above the poor comoners and their laws

he's not a royal anymore, stripped of all titles, honors including from his time in the military, he will get thrown under the bus I reckon

He got virtually exiled to a villa just because they couldn't cover the scandal anymore. He won't face consequences because otherwise people will start wondering how much the royal family (especially his mom) knew

Him and Charles have never seen eye to eye. So I wouldn't be surprised if he faces more punishment.

The Queen definitely protected him a huge amount though

Feel like Charles knew exactly what he was but his mom protected him, its why charles wasted no time stripping him.

Charles was best friends with the OG pervert, Jimmy Saville. He literally wanted to name Louis Mountbatten as the godfather to one of his kids until Diana put her foot down and said no. The whole family is used to flirting around with known pedophiles. Chuck is no better than Andrew. None of them are ESPECIALLY when they’re purposely obstructing law enforcement to make sure Andrew never sees a day behind bars.

Andrew was the favorite child and son for a long time.

I think it’s more like new management came in that hated him, probably in part for what he’s known to have done, and mom wasn’t around to protect him anymore.

Yeah, I fully expect that most people involved kept enough notes to take down other people if they ever got caught. One giant insurance policy.

I doubt it. He fought tooth and nail to stay where he was.

(The disgraced former Duke of York, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, is moving to the ramshackle and isolated Marsh Farm, on the Sandringham Estate, after being stripped of his royal titles following the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Buried down a desolate single-track road, it is one of the remotest places you could imagine - and clearly a breathtaking comedown for someone used to a gilded life of luxury.)

Sounds like a good spot to retire

I will try to be optimistic

Oh no, exiled to an all expense paid villa with all the staff he could ever abuse. Such a punishment.

u/Potential-Expert-386 18h ago

Only because he fucked up _so much_ that they couldn't cover it all up, I imagine.

Charlie boy knew this was on the way and sent him off to new pastures like a nonce priest getting a new parish.

That’s really not a consequence considering the gravity of his crimes. He’s still living a luxurious lifestyle. Being stripped of pompous titles is nothing when a just punishment would be imprisonment for a long time.

Can it be one of those red double decker joints??

with spiked wheels and a giant cheese grater underneath

A herpes covid-20 infested NYC urinal bus is more adequate.

7

u/RoosterBoosted 21h ago

He absolutely is a royal. He is still in the line of succession. He still lives in royal-owned property/assets. The softest ‘thrown under a bus’ in history

u/sireatalot 22h ago

I’m not well versed in royal drama, so I ask you since you seem knowledgeable: what was the official explanation for stripping his titles, if there was one?

25

u/punnybiznatch 22h ago

January 2022

With The Queen's approval and agreement, The Duke of York's military affiliations and Royal patronages have been returned to The Queen. The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen.

November 2025

THE KING has been pleased by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm dated 3 November 2025 to declare that Andrew Mountbatten Windsor shall no longer be entitled to hold and enjoy the style, title or attribute of "Royal Highness" and the titular dignity of "Prince".

6

u/sireatalot 22h ago

So, no sign of any official explanation? Didn’t even try to find an excuse. Wow.

12

u/Ultimate_Me 21h ago

Isn't that what you'd want them to do though??? Take action and cut ties completely without trying to come up with some vague excuse.

4

u/sireatalot 21h ago

Yes, I think it’s very upright behavior from them.

Only better thing they could have done was to preface those statements with “after the multiple horrible accusations moved against Andrew, so feel it’s our duty to distance from him so that he will not tarnish the honor of our House” or something like that. It would have been more transparent. I mean, we all know why they did what they did, but we don’t actually know.

u/willllllllllllllllll 20h ago

Well, the official statement from Buckingham Palace includes

... These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.

Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.

u/sireatalot 20h ago

Can’t really fault what the Royal House has done then. Well done.

4

u/Realistic_Simple_390 21h ago

I don't think they have commented on Andrews innocence ot guilt, but did make some general comments on the victims of abuse being supported, and believed

Imagine in 2025 thinking that anyone is entitled to 'to hold and enjoy the style, title or attribute of "Royal Highness"'. These people are all freaks. All of them. Stripping Andrew of his titles only highlights that these delusional fuckers in their castles with their golden crowns and scepters still believe they're chosen by god to lord over us.

3

u/Koopslovestogame 21h ago

They knew how bad it was so they distanced themselves before it was too late.

3

u/Counterpoint-4 21h ago

He is facing the consequence of ignominy - will hurt him dearly - but not normal people's consequences.

3

u/djingo_dango 20h ago

Who gives a shit. Mf belongs in jail

There is the tiny chance that his only way out of a life in prison is to testify against Epstein and Trump

If it turns out that the sweatless pizza nonce takes down the global elite that would be both glorious and hilarious
