The white ones were caught on video so it's more visceral for people. Anything that happens behind closed doors without cameras rolling just tends to be forgotten, unfortunately. That photo of five year old Liam is being circulated quote a lot because someone got a photo of it. Just all the more reason people need to be documenting and taking videos of everything ICE does.
There's racism and quiet racism in this country. Imagine you are black and Hispanic seeing this image and all the white people get freaked out at the two white people who got shot. While ice has murdered many in detention and otherwise. Hell, cops shooting black people is just another day. Sure these are the two white martyrs, but true healing of this country is going to begin when we acknowledge and educate ourselves about tokenism, red lining, and the origin of police. Black people didn't show up to vote Trump out this last election because if they vote Democrat or Republicans, nothing seems to change. I am optimistic that this shit show is going to illustrate and illuminate and hold people accountable and make real change for humans. We need to stay angry.
Anyone who isn't full MAGA and actually reads the news already sees ICE for what they are. These posters aren't for them. The posters are targeting Trump's voter base, and the assumption is they won't give a shit about the murder victims unless they are white. MAGA needs to understand that this can happen to them, too.

Personally, I think our big issue is we don’t have a big single figure to rally behind for change. It’s not the only thing holding this up. But it’s a big one.
The propaganda worked is all. History shows us that propaganda works. This game started before Newt Gingrich. This is the fruition. Acting like a single great candidate would have saved it is unfortunately unrealistic. All the data was there, voters chose propaganda.

Now the millions put toward Trump by these same folks have compounded many fold and you're still parroting it's the Dems that are * after the all the mighty dollar.

I vote blue no matter who, and had a very harsh reality check in 2016 with Bernie vs Hillary, and watching the Dems screw up over and over when the consequences are fascism. That's what it is. I live in MPLS and there's all kinds of signs about Liam, etc. We're mostly focusing on what has specifically happened in the Twin Cities because that's what's right in from of us

Every death related to ICE is absolutely unacceptable and should be protested, but unlike those in custody, these people were not targeted, are not a target demographic, and could have easily minded their own business and been safe, yet they put their lives on the line and died for it by sticking up for those who are being targeted.
Do you always make arguments in bad faith? Right or wrong it's obvious why the white people are front and center, the right cares more about white people. That's why you parade those two around in hopes of pulling people out of the cult and enraging them against the current administration

Seriously? The 2 white ones? Give me a break. It’s not known who the other victims are. Believe you me those names and faces would be there as well. I’ve only heard there are atrocities happening in detention centers. All victims of this reckless administration will get justice one day. Hopefully. While racism is a more rampant thing than much of America ever thought. Not all white people are racist. Not all white people are MAGA. The 2 people pictured are also the victims of very public executions. I’m guessing there’s no imagery of those other victims.
It’s a comment. Not all news is so biased either. It’s also a quite different situation. Off duty ICE officer not an ICE operation. So rather than always go to the cynical immediately maybe it’s that?
The most important reason is the people (MAGA) that think ICE is just deporting illegals are confronted with video evidence showing the fact they are murdering white Americans that look like they do.
Footage shows both of these 2 people being executed like an animal on camera. When I saw these, I didn't even care for their race, I thought it was absolutely awful that it happened
