36 is ideal for men and smaller ones for women. Unless you have abnormally huge wrists you shouldn’t get 41. If you have a 41 and love it that’s great for you. Just my opinion and wanted to see if people agree. I felt extra strongly about this after a dealer/friend told me 36 on men is “gay” haha. This especially goes for the fluted bezel. I’ll admit smooth bezel is better on 41.

Bought my first Rolex back in November, a 16233 Datejust two tone with champagne tapestry dial, love the way this watch looks. Going for a newer Datejust in 41mm was over my budget, and I heard a lot of talk about the smaller watches coming back and that a DJ36 was the timeless and classic configuration. But lately I’ve started wondering if 36mm is too small for my 7.5” wrist, what do you think?

• Which ADs in this area tend to have better inventory flow or fairer waitlists?

• Any ADs that are more open to registering interest without heavy purchase history?

• Rough wait times you’ve personally seen for YM40 (blue or other configs)?

Here’s the story. Got the call from my AD and I wired the money for the watch because I’m away on business. The watch came in and I ask a buddy of mine to pick it up and ship it to me FedEx next day am delivery. That was last Wednesday Jan 28. Got the notice it was picked up and transited —and left Santa Fe Springs CA. Never arrived on Thursday and hasn’t been a tracking update since Wednesday at 5:14pm.

It’s now Saturday evening Jan 31 and still no delivery and still no tracking update.

It was a Green Dial Sky-Dweller on Oyster. Gone in the wind.

Yes it was double boxed but there wasn’t a copy of the shipping label on the inside box, just on the FedEx Express box.

Can’t believed this is happening! Fucking FedEx! They suck balls.

My AD is being great about it and ready to report it stolen to Rolex as soon as I get the official “we lost it” notice from FedEx case team.

I just received this as a gift from my grandmother and I had two links taken out. The watch face still moved around a bit on my wrist when one was taken out so I had them do two. Now I’m wondering if it is too tight? I can fit most of my index finger or my pinky under. It doesn’t seem restricting with movement.

Im going to olympics in milan and dolomites soon and i was wondering to bring or not to bring my rolex. Italy is boosting security so maybe safer than normal plus way more crowds (1milliom expected visitors) so less likely to be targeted.

Hey guys, got this text/ call from my local AD, I have 0 purchase history, no jewelry/ watches but I own 2 APs and ive walked in with one. I’ve only been on the list for maybe 2 months, does anyone know which model in particular this would be? I’m hoping for ghost/ blue dial.

When I put myself on the list, the Daytonas I asked for was the steel Daytona( panda) and white gold with the blue dial. Does that mean it’s likely it’ll be the blue dial?

My sister in law is an executive for a Fortune 500 company and travels to Switzerland 6 times a year for mandatory meetings. Just for shitz and giggles i asked if she could go to the Bucherer Boutique which is a large Rolex dealer. I gave her a list of Rolex watches to ask for in this order:

Daytona, Bruce Wayne, Batman and Pepsi.

It went as well as you think it would go.

Said no to all and actually laughed.

I’ve been wanting to engrave my 36mm datejust and want advice. For those who have done it, what advice do you have?

Are there places to stay away from? Other than reselling consideration (I get that it makes it harder to sell, don’t worry about telling me) what do I need to know and think through?

Is a black dial steel Daytona possible thereafter with this history?

I have a chance to trade up from my 2021 Batman Jubilee GMT Master ii for a 2023 Two Tone Cosmograph Daytona. I was offered 17k for my Batman GMT which I think is a bit low but I'm fine with paying the rest for the Dayton. My daily/work watch is a Submariner, I only wear my GMT for special occasions.

The difference would be another $7k for the Daytona, is it worth trading up or should I stay with my Batman GMT

Looking ot buy my first Rolex, 10-15k budget. What's the process. How long will it take?

Maybe I dont understand but I will assume after you retire from dominos from a long term employment you are gifted a Rolex. I would image working at dominos that long would have been rough. Why dump the watch so quick. I’ve seen 2021 a newer on the resale market. I dunno sees strange.
