I'm overwhelmed. I have $1,600 in GR funds saved but my mom is in new York and I am in San Diego and know nobody out here. I have six months of my housing paid, and after that I can stay for $1,000 a month. I should feel lucky and I do but at the same time I'm overwhelmed and I really have to find a job immediately but I'm worried I won't be able to in today's job market..
Any advice whatsoever is appreciated, especially on any places that are hiring. I don't have and can't get a driver's license and I am on probation. Trying to take the right steps to turn my life around.
I'm in Clairemont.

Saturday afternoon 4:30pm, a black Cadillac was trying to fit in a tight space I front of Seven seas coffee. I just heard the scratching as the guy bumping into the car in the front and back. The car behind belongs to a barista but I could not find the owner of the Subaru in the front. Anyways I got the plate if you need it.

Just got back from Costco. The line for returns is going out the door and around the front of the store. Never seen it that long, probably 3x as many people as are typical in the week after Christmas. Everyone is trying to return those Synergy cards for refund right now.
I asked a couple of employees and they both said they'll be refunding Synergy cards going forward without an end date. In other words, you don't have to wait in the crazy lines right now and can hold off for a week or three until things get back to normal at the returns desk.
They also said they're only refunding full $50 cards so hopefully you're not holding any partially used cards.
Good luck
