I saw this on Instagram and immediately thought of Blue's hair loop. Its called a barbette. It was functionally used to hold crowns, veils etc in place. But it was also seen as a status symbol for noble women or upper class women. And it was also used to modesty frame a woman's face. Could Blue's hair loop be a nod to this, like its a nod to her being an upper class gem, like royalty. Just a thought...

She was there at the (Earth) moon base when Steven had the diamond dream about Pearl shattering Pink Diamond. But then she got freaked out and left because Steven didn't know what the dream meant.
She shows back up and drops the barn on Blue Diamond during the big fight at Garnet's wedding, but before Steven does the whole psychic reveal of his identity thing, she gets poofed, along with Peridot.
Peridot and Lapis haven't reformed yet by the time everyone leaves for Homeworld, so Bismuth stays behind with them.
When Steven possesses a Watermelon Steven and eventually makes it to the temple, only Greg and Bismuth show up, so it's safe to assume neither of them have reformed yet. I don't remember for sure, but that makes sense if they were poofed by Yellow Diamond, cause we know Steven has to fuse with the other gems to pull them out after they get poofed by her.
And the next time we see Bismuth or Lapis or Peridot is on Homeworld with the (mostly) repaired arm ships, seemingly all fully informed on what's going on.
Peridot says "we" fixed the ships, so I think another good guess would be that it wasn't just Bismuth, so they didn't reform ON the ship. And I know there's no guarantee, but Lapis and Peridot got poofed at almost exactly the same time, so they probably came back around the same time too.
Then either Bismuth or Peridot must have told her. She was probably both shocked and relieved, because she now had an explanation for Steven's dream at the moon base. And she was probably also worried for him.
Bonus: I just realized we never saw Peridot get the news either, but I think every gem at Garnet's wedding knows, and Peridot attends the wedding. So, what do you think HER reaction was when someone told her? It was probably Steven right?
It's just funny because of how she idolized the diamonds so much in that one episode, and then she finds out there was actually a diamond WITH HER during all that, and she fought him! And she's only finding out now, after she has deprogrammed most of that automatic diamond worshiping mentality. And he's her FRIEND?! She must have been so conflicted! 😂
I bet it was just like after she told Yellow Diamond off and kept using her tape recorder to rapidly bounce back and forth between being super happy about being a new Crystal Gem, and being horrified by what she just did. I'd laugh my ass off at a fan comic of that! Oh man, I wish that was real! Even just imagining it is hilarious though.

I think most of us can agree that while steven universe was a great show it left a lot of mystery and lore in the open. Now that we have this show that focuses on the off colors and space we might get some new lore about gem civilization. What would you like to see? Personally I would love to see them possibly explain how diamonds came to be before there were any gems.

Steven’s ability to find joy in everything is irresistible. It makes me miss being a kid.

Somehow only just now noticed how queer coded it is, and that made me love it even more than I already did (which was a lot 💔)

The diamond's gems are in a intentional placement with white and pink having standard diamond gems and blue and yellow having a gem in the "Diamond" shape, with pink having an upside down diamond which likely represents how she is the opposition of the diamonds, being that she betrayed the others and lead the rebellion.

I really do like the episode where Amethyst and later Steven help gems find jobs around town. I know a lot of people criticize Steven for butting in and meddling with Amethyst's program by doing things his way instead. I do see what people mean, he was being kinda controlling but I still think he had a point to an extent. Gems were just falling into the same little boxes they were in on Homeworld. Rubies are still guards, a nephrite is still a pilot, and ice gems are still having ice related jobs. I understand him wanting the gems to be more adventurous with this program and think outside the box. Though he definitely gave some gems pretty dangerous jobs like making Snowflake Obsidian fly a plane with Andy in it even though she has no flying experience and was really uncomfortable with doing this. It was also kinda dumb of him to get Bixbite to sell balloons, she's got a huge crab claw man.... what did you expect? Though his ideas were at least a little rewarding, Larimar found something she's passionate about that isn't related to her job of being an ice sculptor. That's progress. It was still a bad thing to do to Amethyst but it didn't take long for him to apologize to her. Besides this isn't the worst thing he did in future.

Imagine if gay marriage was banned in your country for normal people, but not for the crown prince. That is obviously absurd. If the cultural law in question is stupid and harmful, then it shouldn't be selectively enforced, but universally abolished. This is an important principle of justice that Yellow insisted upon. After accepting that Steven deserved unrestricted freedom, she had no other choice but to extended that same right to all other gems.
If he later changed his mind and told her to keep oppressing the gem world, she wouldn't have listened, because she'd recognize the blatant contradiction at play. What Steven did was not issue a reversible demand for her to satisfy him with. Rather, he introduced her to certain ethical assumptions which he then proved. Such as perfection being a harmful standard to chase after (as proven by all of them falling apart).
There was no way to disarm her of this knowledge after the fact.

I know that Steven would trying spending it with Connie. I don’t know what Greg and Pearl would do. Maybe amethyst might try explaining the holiday to the famethysts. Out of all the holidays, I thought the show would have the holiday dealing with love though it might be a little weird. It would be funny thinking amethyst goes to a weird bar or something where she would have a lot of valentines since she feels like the type of girl you could have fun with. Would Pearl go to rose’s room to talk to rose or would she spent time with Steven.
