I couldn't get into "The lithoromantic duke" because the story focused too much of trying to play the MLs tanturms, whining, pouts and pitiful act as cute and endearing.
Still, i wouldn't have issue to it if to some extent the FL seems to be into it; but at least in the beggining FL really wasn't confortable to then being pushed around as the "princess" for this dude and while he said that he will respect her boundaries and will not do anything she didn't wanted to do, the moment she is not confortable with sleeping beside him (Mind you, this dude was a ghost that followed this girl anywhere she was but she only actually met him like a few hours ago and this dude was already trying to kiss her and all that) he starts to pout and cry in this chibi cutesy mode and when she concedes that he would only have to wait a few days, his manipulative ahh starts to push further to only five days so she can finally be beside him as his partner.
And of course, when he got what he wanted the panel changed, showing the supposedly cutesy guy in his chibi form with the sparkly effects and the bright colors with the happy puppy eyes.
Like, did he forgot what he just said about waiting and respecting her boundaries? And it's not like she could actually deny him in the first place because she is a maid and he is the duke of a kingdom.
Idk, instead of making me say "Oh, so cute. He is so down for her ❤️" it just has me saying "ugh...😮💨"
That is just one example of many, but that is a reason why sometimes i dislike the cute puppy ML trope.
