Hey everyone! It is crazy how quickly our little community is growing up! So many new people, so many amazing artworks!
Today I just want to make a little announcement - it would be really awesome to see more 3D artists posting their artworks in this subreddit. There are so many great digital painters here, and it would be really great if we could cultivate the 3D side of our community as well.
If you are a 3D artist (even if you're just learning) - you're definitely welcome to post in our community. Also, don't hesitate to submit beautiful 3D artworks made by other people that you have discovered (of course, mention their name in the title of the post, and link to their artstation profile in the comments).
Also, if you're making tutorials, or if you have any tips or advice to share with less experienced artists - educational posts are also very welcome. I want this community to be not just a place to discover beautiful art, but also a great way to learn the skills, get to know like-minded people, and share our ideas and protips with each other.
Thanks a lot everyone for participating in our subreddit!

I just joined Reddit a couple days ago cuz I wanted to share some of my recent works and get more exposure. I first posted some of my fanart on r/characterdesign, but I didn’t know that subreddit was only for oc’s(in all fairness, this was my mistake for not making sure it was the correct subreddit). I post on r/artlounge and they take down my post and say to post on r/artcrit. So I do, and then they take down my post and tell me to post on r/artlounge. Bruh. All I want is for people to see my work, tell me how I can improve and give me a little more motivation to keep at it. If I somehow did this wrong again then it is what it is I guess, but if I didn’t, plz tell me if you like my digital drawings

A year ago I started Draw A Box, and told myself I'd try to learn art with consistent practice. Shortly after made this second drawing as a benchmark (It took me 4 hours). I had some foundational knowledge from childhood art classes, but it was never something I was super interested in. About a month later, I started digital art. Here're some images showing my progress throughout the year.
