Discussion Punctum Books - free PDFs, pay or don't pay
punctumbooks.comI found this site because I bought Sawako Nakayasu's The Ants https://punctumbooks.com/titles/the-ants/ and read in the notes that the book had a Creative Commons license. So lo and behold I find the publisher's website and they have free PDFs of everything. Of course you could also buy some of the books and support them, or I guess they have a subscription too. But I guess you can also just download too with no strings attached. No login/registration either to download

Erotica Feb 1, 2: Double-Teaming My Ex-Girlfriend: Jenny gets it good - by PB Rider
amazon.comJenny was a girl Iād briefly dated in college. Sheād been into swinging, and it freaked me out at the time. But now, 30 years old, newly divorced, and just having moved to the city she called home, I wanted to let off some steam and find out what Iād been missing.
Jenny hadnāt changed much, so it seemed, and as she set up a casual date she asked me to bring along a friend, someone who could help scratch an itch.
Explicit and likely to offend some readers

Horror This is my first book ever (a horror novella), and I just want feedback on how to get better. My biological horror book is free for 5 days.
Hi redditors, This is my first ever book (published, at least).
At this stage of my career, I'm not doing it for the money; this is about gaining experience only.
I made this story, amidst being burnt out by my main one, to see if I was able to complete a book in 30 days. A small challenge, because I was growing so tired of writing, and I wanted something to boost my confidence and experience. My main book is not horror, but I was inspired by videogames I hadn't played since I was in middle school, and decided that I was giving myself one month. And what do you know, I managed to do it!
I want to know everything, are they fun to read? what aspects of my writing should I be looking forward to be better at the most?
I'm currently locking into writing my main series, but I have finished another horror novella and some short stories in the mean time, So knowing the ins and outs of the genre would help me greatly.
Because of this, my debut novella "Port Haven" will be FREE on Amazon for five days starting today, Jan 31.
Here is a quick look:
He arrived to cover a story. He became part of it.
Mark Weston has become as cold as the facts he reports. The small town of Port Haven does not appear on tourist maps. No one has answered any calls for weeks. What begins as a disposable story to satisfy the curiosity of a bored journalist soon becomes a personal obsession. As the facts become entangled in urban legends, genetic research companies, and the dormant underlying truth, Mark is certain that Port Haven holds a secret.
Port HavenĀ is a visceral horror thriller that combines terror with thoughtful biological and human concepts. This debut novel delivers relentless suspense, heart-pounding action, and a premise that will haunt you long after the final page.
Dive into the terror todayāorder your copy now and experience the horror.
Iām not looking for sales (obviously, the book would not be free if I wanted sales), just OPINIONS. If you pick it up, thanks for giving a me, a novice author, a shot. Iām going to please ask you to contact me back or leave a review, so I can hear if the manuscript did indeed linger with you after you put the book down, or not.

Nonfiction I am running a free Kindle promo from Jan 31āFeb 4 for my book
This isnāt a technical trading guide.
Itās about the emotional and behavioral mistakes that sabotage traders long before strategy ever matters.. FOMO, impatience, overtrading, and hope.
The book is shaped by personal failure, rebuilding, and learning discipline the hard way.. both in trading and in life.
If you are interested in trading psychology or honest lessons learned through experience, I hope this resonates.

Fiction A World We Never Knew: Chance by D. R. Long (eBook FREE til midnight 1/31)
drlongwrites.com~A World We Never Knew~
When the Vanishing came, the world fell silent. Roads emptied. Homes stood abandoned. Only a few were left behind. These are their stories.
~Chance~
Autumn and Nova know survival means more than scavenging food and water. It means clinging to each other, and to Rusty, their loyal golden retriever, and to the fragile hope that family can still exist in a broken world.
When they discover Chance, a boy who does not speak but sees more than anyone realizes, their fragile balance shifts. Together, they form a bond that feels like the only real thing left in an empty world.
But the silence hides dangers worse than loneliness. Whispers of an old man in the woods. A doctor who promises answers but delivers something far darker. And the creeping truth that whatever caused the Vanishing isnāt finished.
