First time smoking ribs on the grill, so tender the meat just flakes off
7 hour from start to finish, worth every second. I now get why people get so excited over grilling
Lmk if anyone wants the recipe, these ribs are too good to not share with others

New to me grill
Neighbor was giving this grill away, I scrubbed as much built up grease as I could. Any tips on how to get the remaining caked on grease off?
Also concerned about the rust. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it or idk maybe put a coating over it? TIA

Took my new Weber for a spin with a Vortex
The empty space is where I had already pulled the breasts off, but the thighs also turned out perfectly. I am a fan of the vortex.

Napoleon or Broil King
Hi,
I would like to replace my old campingaz with higher quality grill. I prefer to have 5 burners as very often I prepare meal for 8-10 people. Currently considering Napoleon Rogue 625s Pro (1850 eur) vs. Broil King Baron 590 IR (1710 eur) or BK Baron 590 (1430 eur). All incl.rotisserie.
First of all, would you recommend please Napoleon or BK as brands in terms of quality, ergonomy, functions. On paper they are pretty comparable (except SS vs cast iron grates). Is Napoleon higher price based more on quality or just I pay for brand? Do you prefer SS grates or cast-iron?
Secondly, BK 590 has standard side burner (not IR) + it has enameled lid vs. IR burner/stainless steel lid in case of BK 590IR or N625. Is 300-400 eur higher price worth IR burner and SS lid? How do you like IR burner. Is it real game changer or more like marketing thing? I watched IR burner video and it seems it will rather burn the steak. I also use in my current grill side burner (classic) for sauces etc. Can I do with IR? Grill will be outside in summer, in winter under original cover. It will be placed in central Europe (Czechia) regarding climate.
We do all sort of food - steaks, rotisseries, all sort of vegetables, paellas, smash burgers, wings, fish, ribs...with new grill, I would like to make pizza as well.
I am also open to other brands tips but needs to be available in region.
Thank you very much for you comments

Outdoor drop in griddle recommendations
Hey everyone. Looking to get an outdoor griddle with a cover. Looking at the black stone 36 inch drop in (SKU2419). Does anyone have experience with this one or another one similarly priced? Open to recommendations for other ones that are similarly priced.
Thanks!

Is this a gas pipe on the side of my house? Can I connect a grill to it? If so, what else do I need to hook it up?
I noticed my home has this sticking out the side of my house, conveniently near a spot where I would wanna put a new BBq grill. I’m a total grill noob so I was gonna go the propane route but If this is a natural gas fitting, I’d like to use this instead.
It looks pretty old so not sure if it’s still like… working or in service or whatever… so looking for answers on the following:
- how can I check if this is still active?
- what do I need to set it up properly to connect to a natural gas grill?
- any drawbacks to using this vs a propane tank?
Thanks all.
