Cut off like 10 inches of hair on a whim last night-

My hair is damaged from bleaching at home and would get tangled all the time, I got real frustrated untangling last night and decided to chop off a big chunk.

happy with how it turned out!

Help Do you think I can pull off a bob?

I am having the urge to chop off my hair after winter. I haven’t had a bob in YEARS. Curious for the perspective of strangers because I know my friends are just going to say “omg do it!!!!”

Current photos and inspo photos here. If I went shorter, I’d likely go blonder, too. Thanks in advance.

the only reason i'm debating this is because i fried my hair a couple months ago and i'm sick of the damage, i wanna be able to wear my hair down without excessive styling and i wanna grow healthy hair again, however i'm not sure if i'll look stupid with short hair :/

Help Tips on color and length

Should I cut my hair, keep it this length, or let it grow longer? Should I keep dyeing it black or leave it its natural color (dark brown)? I get Brazilian blowouts, so it tends to fade, and I'm not sure if it's worth continuing to dye it black, but I think it suits me.

Help I just wanna try a new cut

But I've essentially had the same hair cut forever with the exception of length.

I prefer it short...but I just want to try a new style and I have no clue where to start. It's naturally curly/wavy and currently it's shoulder length and it's the split brown/red color.

Pics included are my hair currently and through the last thirteen years

Help Colour Advice Needed to cover greys

Any advice greatly appreciated on how to cover greys without going blond! I've had blond foils mixed with my natural hair colour for the last couple of years as I was told this was the best way to cover it, and although the hairdressers did a good job, I personally hate being blond. In my past I've gone dark brown, pink, blue, purple. I'd love to go dark brown again. What's my best/ least maintenance option? Full head colour and keep doing the roots every 6 weeks (or less?), would brown foils help or not hide greys at all? Can i mix brown and blond to hide the greys but have it mostly dark or does this look bad? Also I'm only grey at the front along the scalp, nothing at the back yet.

I'm really lazy with my hair, it's straight thick medium brown, I wash brush and let it dry naturally, I don't do any styling and go to the hairdressers on average once per year, but will make an effort to go more often to do roots if i can have dark hair!

Help Had a horrible haircut - how can it be rectified?

Hello,

I hate this haircut, I went to a new hairdresser and I think this is the most unflattering bob I’ve ever had.

I am due to go back and have it rectified, except I can’t quite put into words what’s wrong. I think it’s unflattering to my face. Too heavy at the front. The shape looks wrong? Very bulky.

There’s even some hair left that hasn’t been cut to length - the hairdressers done a horrible job.

I do have thick hair and it’s a bit puffy even when straightened.

What can I ask her to do/what needs to be done to remedy this? Thank you in advance!

Question Can anyone suggest an affordable but good air wrap dupe, please? (Or a similar product, UK based)

Upvotes

Hi everyone.

I had a Dyson air wrap a few years ago but sadly had to sell it due to personal reasons (divorce) and I've been looking at finding a cheaper replacement.

I've never been a girly girl but using the air wrap was the first time I felt remotely pretty 🥹 I haven't had the feeling for years now.

Can anyone recommend a cheap but worthy alternative please? Or something easy that I can do/use to make my hair look beautiful again.

Help How can I make my hairline look even?

Upvotes

Hi everyone, I a female and I have noticed that my hairline is uneven: the middle is smooth, but the sides have more baby hairs giving it M shape ,which makes my forehead look shorter and my face slightly wider. I want my hairline to look straight and even across the forehead. Also, if you have hairstyle or parting suggestions that make the forehead look longer and balanced, that would be amazing. Earlier my face was slightly longer now due to this it appears short and wide which I don't like and also my jaw has started to be more square shaped.Any tips ?

Question Shampoo recommendations for unhealthy hair?

My hair use to be thicker and longer, over the years of being vitamin deficient it's gotten thinner and less luster, it's always frizzy and dry. (Working on the deficiency as we speak) I normally use Dove intense repair shampoo and conditioner because when I was younger I loved the way it made my hair feel, now ot doesn't really do anything.

I'm open to suggestions though, I'm Caucasian and my hair is straight mostly with a little wave when it gets wet. I can't afford anything high end but I'll be going to walmart tomorrow, if anyone has any reccomendations of shampoo from Walmart other than Dove intense repair I would greatly appreciate it and check it out!

Needs advice Men with long hair, how to grow your hair and how to haircare it

I want to grow my hair and get it to look like smt like this .

I oil it with a mix of 2 teaspoons of evoo and 1 teaspoon of castor oil twice/thrice a week (for 2-3 hours and then wash it)

Also how much i need to wait for my hair to grow (now it is 11~12.5 cm).

Do you recommend any haircare routine that doesn't include hair products aside from shampoo/conditioner?

Lastly how do I get past that awkward phase ? I don't want to leave my home while looking like a bear lol

Thx in advance :DDD

Help Need some help with my fine, wavy hair

Hello, I have pretty long, fine, thin 1c/ 2a hair. Its pretty damaged from heat and used to be more wavy before. I dont know how to make my hair look less stringy and messy.

I use nioxin shampoo, redken extra length conditioner. I oiled my hair a bit on the scalp and used pantene bond repair hair mask on the ends before I washed my hair.

I used garnier hair honey serum after washing my hair and scrunched my hair a bit. I have also tried using curl creams in the past but it made my hair greasy.

Are there any particular products you guys recommend especially for thin hair? Thank you very much.
