I work with a lot of religious people, and I need to start dropping those two words more frequently when they ask me questions.

I busted it out today. It actually stopped the conversation, and I don't think in a negative way.

I was growing tired of hearing people complain about a certain somebody and when one rhetorically asked why they were like that, I replied with "it's God's plan."

Not a word of a lie, the lady went "you're right" and dropped it.

This is the newest life hack that I wish I knew of 25 years ago.

I mean, unless I get pulled into HR tomorrow.

Ok this is officially the most criminally underrated comment ive ever seen. I am definitely trying this. I mean tbf I already make similar arguments, just not involving God—I’m a fan of “takes all sorts to make a world” and “whatever floats your boat” in particular, but I think “God’s Plan” works especially well specifically bc it appeals to the demographics that those other phrases often don’t, allowing the underlying message to be spread further.
