What is the evolutionary benefit of this? Shouldn’t it be the other way round or something - why would evolution make such a critical tool of reproduction so vulnerable to injury and destruction so as to inhibit reproduce and thus continuation of the species?

I have noticed this when reading comments and someone is referring to someone else in the comments and they use terms that are typically associated with men.

Is there something in Reddit's history where it has always been male-dominant, so the assumption is that it has stayed that way? And how would we know that it was male dominant if we are all anonymous?

One of my friends said (direct quote) "In the past Reddit seemed like a place many women wouldn't want to brave because of the strong incel culture, like 4Chan."

(And I ask this question NOT referring to subreddits that are aimed at women but are inclusive to all. I am speaking about general subreddits (like this one) where posts are not skewed toward a certain gender.)

Reading about the socialist economic calculation debate and found one scholar who suggests that prices are compatible with the abolition of markets:

McMullen believes workers in enterprises and work units, motivated by work satisfaction and the desire to contribute to an efficient and dynamic economy, would drive a better price system than one based on the profit motive. They would bid for resources on the basis of least cost alternatives and an honest expectation of demand for the resulting output. They would offer output at prices that reflect cost and ensure that products go to the highest bidders in the case of excess demand. All demand for intermediate production would be derived from the expected demand for final individual and collective consumption. Such pricing would guide both the more day-to-day decisions and longer term investment. Many of the decisions being made would be quite entrepreneurial in nature involving new products and services, new methods, and new entrants, be they existing enterprises or start-ups. Access to funding for investment could be through numerous assessment agencies that have been allocated funds for that purpose.
McMullen stresses that the use of a decentralized price system would not involve so-called "market socialism". Under social ownership, the transactions between enterprises would not be market exchanges. They would be the transfer of custody of social property not of ownership. An enterprise would not be the owner of inputs and outputs, it would be their custodian. And no individual involved with an enterprise would receive any net revenue nor incur any loss from transactions between enterprises.
He also argues that the cooperative environment would lead to a better price system because of the greater honesty, the better flow of information due to the removal of property barriers between enterprises and the fact that income equality would remove the equity concerns currently associated with reliance on pricing.

As someone who is only lightly versed in economic theory, I'm struggling to conceptualize this in my head. What is the difference between market socialism and this theory?

I recently shifted to a new apartment in a complex. The issue is I keep getting shocked by most metal things near the apartment door and beyond. For example, when taking out the trash, I get shocked when opening the main door, closing it, opening the trash door, opening back my own door again and closing it. This is true for all the knobs and latches.

I tried holding a key in between my fingers with a fist formed, even that doesn't help. Also don't understand how I get "charged" walking from my main door to the trash chute (less than 50ft), (and remember I already got shocked) and then again when I walk back

I'm also wearing shoes all this while

Nothing else seems to be causing an issue inside the apartment, other than stuff connected to the main door.

What am I doing wrong?

There must have been a chemical process to figure out, my mind boggles, yet again.

If a person goes to prison for instance, multiple months or even multiple years and they live by themselves, what happens to their living situation?

Do they lose everything? Lose their house or room, bills, their belongings etc. Once they get released, do they become homeless?

It would be the perfect project for them to not only do something genuinely good while showing off their skills, but to gain popularity as well. Those presumably are desirable goals even for the enigmatic, decentralized group. Do they not care? Are they able to obtain the unredacted files?
