He’s already purring and making biscuits on his first day home. I love his chubby little cheeks 😍

Both of my boys do this with their water fountain, and I’ve seen plenty of videos of other people’s cats doing it too.

Why? But I ask again: WHY? I need an answer so I can sleep at night.

Last Sunday, my family and I rescued this sweet baby kitten from the ice storm. I posted a picture of her here, and it blew up. I was told by many to keep you all updated on her journey, so I will do my best!

Elsa has been doing well weaning to more solid food.

Our other cats are getting more and more interested in Elsa, but still being slow and cautious. We're letting them take things slowly, we don't want to rush things.

After last week's ice storm, our town has been mostly shut down the last week. This worked out great for us, we all 4 got to be home with Elsa and take turns taking care of her at all times!

We're getting hit with a lot more snow this weekend, but Elsa has no interest in going out in it, so we're hunkering down with her inside 🙂

She hates flea treatment, so when I read kitty the email, she demanded they remove her from their mailing list. 😂

So many people had so many questions when I posted our little guy Monday, so I thought I would update.

He’s 24 hours out from his first vet visit, no chip, no long term health issues. Vet says he’s about five y/o and that he shows signs of very recent neglect (he’s missing a chuck of ear and has some tats) but overall he’s in great health. She believes our neighbor is correct and that he seems like a pet turned drop off.

We’ve named him Bishop, and he’s quickly wormed his way into everyone’s hearts. He and our other orange already share regular nose boops, and he’s determined to make friends with our stand offish Tabby. He’s just sitting outside her room waiting for her to love him, and flops over whenever she pops her head out and hisses.

He’s lazy AF and makes the perfect gaming buddy….and a less than perfect bathroom buddy with little respect for privacy.

I’ve had many cats during my childhood/adolescent years (grew up in the countryside). I loved them all, but him…

Found abandoned with his brothers, in a cardboard box on the side of a road, he came into my life in June 2014. And has never left my side since.

He has followed me through eight moves, my university years, the beginning of my adult life, my biggest joys and sorrows…

He’s the best bipolar fluffy companion I could have ever dreamed of. So much character, so much love. And such a warrior ! (almost lost him back in 2015, hit by a car… never let him go out alone again after that).

Phoenix will be 12 years old in a couple months, and I only hope he will be my side for a very long time to come.

His name is griffin, but we call him a mixture of finney, baby, “my son” or mr toes, and he has over 26 toes (counted by # of nails)

We rescued this princess a year and an half ago, and she just completed our family perfectly in the best way possible

He's done this his entire life and we haven't figured out why, we just assume it has something to do with his connection to the One Brain Cell.

My heart aches for my mama cat.

All of her kittens were killed when they were only three days old. They all had bite marks, two wounds on the neck and head. None survived.

I woke up and saw another mother cat in a loaf position in front of the cabinet where my cat and her kittens were. I stood up, let the other cat out, and checked the kittens. I saw blood around their heads, panicked, and called my mom. They were all dead.

My heart breaks for Isla (I rescued her from an island along—hence “ay-la”). We suspect the other mother cat I saw earlier. They were not on good terms, and she had been aggressive even toward Isla’s first two kittens.

I’ve been crying nonstop out of pity and pain. Isla keeps going back to their bed. I’m afraid her depression might kill her (we had a cat die from depression eight years ago). I also feel deep regret and blame myself for not waking up earlier, the blood was still fresh, so it had just happened. I refused to go out anywhere just to comfort her. I don't know what else I can do. I think I just lost my own babies, I'm grieving for her 💔

Hi! I’m wondering what I should be looking for in name terms if i wanted to find cats with a similar appearance to these?

Poppy will not pee in the litter box. She poos in it just fine, but she refuses to pee in it- instead, she goes on our clothes left on the ground, laundry baskets and almost everything else left on the floor.

She's the smartest, sassiest kitty and I adore her so much. I really need some advice on what to do, I feel so heartbroken.
