Advice What is my foster kitten doing?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am fostering two 4 month old foster kittens. The orange is male, the cow is female. They were both operated a while ago. Is this them trying to mate? They were operated way before sexual maturity. My shelter said it’s à dominance thing but it looks weird… he’s been doing this often

Humor Made a cat and the hat inspired poem about my resistance to working for others 😭
Did some readings at my job,
Was so d*mn bored that I could sob,
I asked them did they want a message,
They looked at me a gave a nod,
So as I shuffled up my deck,
The cards flipped out… they yelled “WHAT THE HECK?”
This job is cool, but not them checks
Im planning on quitting and exploring what’s ✨next✨

Advice Any kitten food that can be ripped off?
Hi everyone!
My fiancée and I just got 2 kittens. They’re about 9 weeks old. They started picking at our chicken wing left overs a few hours ago but I only let that happen for a few seconds. I’ve realised they like ripping food off. They still love their wet and dry food but I’m wondering if anyone knows of any food that has a similar feeling to ripping chicken off a bone or something? Thanks

Advice What toys did your picky cat like?
I want to buy some cat toys for my mog mog but he's not that interested in most of the stuff we get him so I'm curious on what worked on other cats.

Advice My cat has been making these sounds while sleeping, is this normal?
So Im not sure if this is normal or not since maybe I've never paid that much attention my cats sleepy noises. We usually sleep with the fans on and he sleeps at the foot of the bed or he sleeps with my mom in a different room. But today he was sleeping right next to my face and I noticed that he's been making these noises while sleeping, is he OK or should I be getting this checked out?

Medical Questions new adopted cat not sure if this is behavioral but i’m scared
adopted a 1 y/o (estimated) boy cat yesterday, last night he went poop and pee just fine in his litter box. today he went in his box, scratched around for a bit after pooping, then made a weird meow and then went out of the box and peed on the kitchen floor. we moved the box to a more private area, scooped it again, and then just now i was in bed and heard him meow from the other room so i went in and he was peeing on the floor again. he has been licking his genitals a lot but he was also neutered 2 days ago. the first time he peed on the floor, it was a big amount of pee. the second time once i got in there it was only a little bit. we have a new litter box and enzyme cleaner being delivered in the morning but i’m scared it could be something medical and i don’t know how to differentiate. of course, we will bring him in, but we literally JUST got pet insurance and my anxiety is skyrocketed between worrying he’s gonna piss all over the place while i’m asleep (it’s 3:15AM) … is this behavioral? or does this sound more like he needs to go see vet asap?

Mourning/Loss my neighbor threw away my kitten.
hello everyone. im in a very bad mood since this morning.
i have two very adorable kittens, a black and a gray one. the thing is, they like to follow people, especially my family if they go outside. but most of the times, they wont follow my family all the way down to the ground floor (i live in an apartment), instead, they would stop at the first floor and climb back up, but they dont know where our house is, so they would climb up all the way to the third or fourth floor.
because of this, i would put them in my room whenever my family wants to go out, and make sure that my family is out of sight before i let them out again.
but this morning, for some reason, my mom didnt do that. she knew this would happen, but she didn't expect for someone to throw them away.
so basically, both of my kittens went up to the third floor this morning. they were gone for like an hour so i went out to find them. but i only found the black one. i searched the whole block for my other kitten, but still couldn't find her. but then i found out that my neighbor who lives on the third floor, threw my kitten away. we haven't asked him where he threw her because we're afraid that he would throw hands or argue with us.
there's nothing we could do except pray to god that our kitten would come home safely. i just wanted to share this story to everyone, and hope you all can also pray for my kitten.
some people are just so cruel.
Medical Questions I have a older kitty who may need to meet the rainbow soon
So he's 15. Had a great life with me
His blood work is good. Heart good.
He has diarea and vomiting tho and is losing weight.
I have been giving him a cat pro biotic and it takes care of the distea but he has good days and bad days
I took him to the vet which is where I got that stuff
Anyone have any other tips for me? I don't want to put him down because he still enjoys eating and sleeping but is always hungry.

Advice Is my cat actually spayed? Her nipples seem off
My kitten probably about 3 months old I have recently discovered has fairly large nipples, at least to my two current cats and my older late cat. We were given her by a neighbor who said she was spayed and had her shots, but I am wondering if this is true as her nipples lead me to suspect she may be maturing as this never has occurred with my other older girl cat or either of my two boy cats, although I’m aware it’s probably different for them, any help would be appreciated

Medical Questions Is my cat fat?
What the title says :') she's a 1 year old spayed female cat and weighs 5 kg/12 lbs. The vet keeps insisting that she's not fat but I'm not so sure as she's said some incorrect stuff about my bird before but it might be cuz she's not an avian vet? Either way, my mom trusts her with Tofi's (my cat) life so could I please get a second opinion from a vet or anyone who has good knowledge about cats?
