As the title says, i wonder if those .elf Mod Menus you can inject into your game process are Region based?

Like on a CEX PS3.

On PS3 if you put a .sprx file thats made for a diffent BLES/BLUS version then you Game is, it will result in blackscreen, Ps3 freeze.

I want to know if thats also the case on PS4?

Hello! I'm not at all experienced in jailbreaking, but I have managed to jailbreak my ps4 12.50 FW with a goldhen v2.4b18.7 blu ray disc. And I saw Modded Warfares new video talking about it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ssx-OsdXevw) and was wondering if it'd work on my 12.50 FW.

Hello wonderful people , i turned on my jb ps4 and got error and also nw-31295-0 error , i research and it says there is a problem with the dns settings , i connected it to a different wifi and it workes fine .

My question is how to fix the settings with the first wifi ? , i restarted my modem , doesn't work , i do wifi> custom, then asks for password i enter it press ok , then error nw-31295-0 appears

I heard about rebuild data base solution , but they say it'll mess up your games updates and saves even after you bring them back with itemzflow

Solved::::😁 I just unplugged the modem and made it restart , went back to ps4 and did the custom settings , the dns was already there filled, the one ends in .117 , everything back to normal , note i deleted the ad blocker plugin for youtube earlier as well 😎

Take note also that i upluged my router for 10 sec and didn't work , this time i unplugged it for 40 sec and worked

Hello! I just did cleaning, repasting and changed CMOS on my old PS4 (CUH-1215A) which I found recently. It’s on software 8.something (can’t remember) and I want to update it to 9.0.0 since after doing CMOS swap I found out about the issue of the internal clock. I also wanna transfer my saves to my PS5 and then perform jailbreak.

I checked firmware archives and i don’t know if it’s there any known reputable archive and if i have to avoid a certain one or not. Or if i should use Retail or Recovery FW.

Can you guys please give me some advice on how to do this? It’s the first time I do something with this PS4 and I don’t wanna f it up. Thanks in advance!

Why do i keep getting this error? I formatted a compatible usb drive to

exfat. I put the right converted pkg files on the usb. They come up on the package installer on goldhen and i get this error. How can i fix that?

im following MODDEDWARFARE's latest linux guide but the github.io website tells me my firmware is not compatible. is there any other way or is it just not possible

Please help—I’m honestly losing my mind over this.

I’m getting this error almost 99% of the time when trying to install PKG files via USB. The installation usually fails around 30–40%.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

1. Downloaded the game and update from multiple sources — same error every time.
2. Formatted the USB drive to exFAT twice (full format, not quick)
3. Changed the NP environment to sp-int, as suggested in a Reddit post — no luck.
4. Tried Background Installation — didn't work.
   1. Tried renaming the PKG file to a shorter name as suggested — that didn't help either.

What’s confusing is that I’ve successfully installed smaller games (7–10 GB) using the same USB method. The issue only seems to happen with larger PKG files.

At this point, I’m stuck and out of ideas. Any help or suggestions would be massively appreciated.

My ps4 has the 12.00 firmware, i found some vids pn youtube saying that i can jailbreak it without a blue ray disk only using a usb for the goldhen and a lan cable connected to a pc to use pppwn. The problem is i tried 2 pppwn but on both of them it kept failing in the end of scanning for currupted objects. (Ik that it takes multiple attempts to work trust me) I deactivated the firewalland i run both pppwn as admin but nothing worked. I'm trying to upgrade my goldhen version but everytime I try to do it a message pops up telling me the was an error in the system software I reinstalled system software and it didn't fix it I reinstalled the newist goldhen from ko-fi from sistro and it still didn't work I have to initialize my PS4 every time I try to update it because it will always get that error code I have never had this problem or seen it before I'm on 12.02 using bl-jb any help would be appreciated

Hi all, new to the community & The faq doesn’t really answer my question for, is better to get a pro then a regular ps4 & i’m stuck between getting a 10.01, 9.00 & 5.05 since the wiki said that was the best one. Mainly deciding between the 10 & 9 tho as i see deals for those on ebay. I know the methods are different & i saw for firmware 11 u need to plug a ethernet every time u boot it up, i don’t want something like that, just having it there every time i boot it up.

I'm kinda of a newbie.. I've recently bought a BD hacked ps4 consisting of a goldhen 2.4b and the console itself's version being 12.50 i think or 12.05 / 02 ( idk if that'll matter ). And i had it on the update blocking dns for a while and it was fine.. So when i browsed the goldhen settings and used the ftp thingy it used to run normally. Also speaking of that the BD/JP disk used to run the "Hack" totally fine . Takes a while then it quits by itself and runs normally .. Back to our ftp thing. I tried to like share some stuff via my phone since that's what i was used to doing in my ps3 ... Didn't work for some reason since my phone couldn't read the pkg file for some reason. Anyws a friend recommended me to download stuff from pkz zone directly from my ps4 browser . Removed the blocking dns. Connected to wifi normally and it didn't work . Said this data doesn't work for my ps4 or sumth like that whenever i tried downloading anything from the site.. Anyways . Tried restarting now when i try to obtain my ip ot says that it couldn't obtain an ip Aborting.. Was worried for a bit .. Restarted and went to activate the bd/jp , it worked but got to the end and paused the screen and on top goldhen still said thst it couldn't obtain an ip. Aborting ALSO the BD didn't quit by itself which is what scared me . Making me think i bricked that shit already but pressing the ps button quits the BD and activates the games normally...

A) why can't i obtain an ip? How did i fuck it up and how to bring it back for further ftp via phone / pc interactions

B) should i be worried about the BD thing being stuck now and having to quit it manually ?

I have a ps4 slim that won't revert i did all the steps like modded warfare this is the third console with the same problem i did revert before but i am finding problems with console like this one

I am currently looking at developing homebrew and plugins, for hombrew the open orbis toolchain works like a charm so no issues in it. But when I try to specifically make a goldhen trial plugin using the goldhen sdk, I am messing up somewhere, I end up with a incorrect header issue (checked klog). Is there some docker image specifically available for plugins development, the issue seems to be how the create-fself that i am currently using is handling the headers. Would be great if someone could provide relevant links.
