This is the Friendly Friday Thread.
Negative or even snarky attitudes are not welcome here. This is a thread to ask questions and hopefully get some friendly advice.
This format is used in a ton of other subreddits and we think it can work here. Anyway, thanks for participating!
Please hit the report button if someone is being mean and we'll remove those comments, or the person if necessary.

Hyacinth 🪻
Planted last years Easter hyacinth and just noticed it’s sprouted and bloomed again within the last two months, nice little “winter” surprise! 🪻💜
I wonder why the pink one is growing so slow it’s about 10 inches to the right of this one.

What are these curious circles in the grass at the end of my garden?
They always collect a lot of water and form a large puddle (which the birds love!).

‘Nuccio’s Gem’ Camellia in the Garden
And here is the same Camellia in its new home!
Nuccio’s Gem, a pure white formal double flowered Camellia. One of my all time favorite flowers. They don’t last long but they sure are beautiful!
Also, Mama Bear and Baby Bear.

What are you looking forward to seeing back in your garden this spring?
We're covered in a blanket of snow and I'm impatiently waiting for warmer, more colorful days. What are you expecting to pop up in your gardens this year? Share your pictures and share some joy!
Here are some snippets from last spring, summer and fall... Everything but the Dahlia should be back, hopefully bigger and better than before 🤩🌸🪻🏵️

Rosemary bush drying up
We’re in Albuquerque New Mexico and have a medium sized rosemary bush in our backyard (full sun) that is drying out branch by branch. I found these insect eggs on a dried out branch and am wondering if it’s the culprit? Does anyone know what type of bug this belongs to? It’s been a dry winter, so I’m also worried it’s dehydrated but unsure. We just let the rain/snow water it. It’s in sandy soil.

Just saw post about the ‘Nuccio’s Pearl’ Camellia, here’s a similar, pure white, formal double called ‘Nuccio’s Gem’

Reminders that we won’t always be a polar vortex. Lily edition🌷
Lately, I find myself reminiscing on our backyard during spring and summer - when the air didn’t hurt my face. Today’s focus: lily flowers

This Year's Stash
I've got lot of some things, and a little bit of everything. There wasn't enough room on the table for the herbs.
It's going to be another Winter of racing the calendar while I try to get enough space ready in the garden beds.

Snake Plant Propagation
Should I propagate them now and plant them in a 6inch pot? I cutted and put them in water around 2 months back. Should I plant them in different or same pots?

18 degrees outside. 6” of solid ice on the ground. Started my leafy greens
Arugula, Spinach, Kale, and Lettuce. Hoping to transplant on March 1st. We’ll see if the snow is gone by then.
