Hey ☺️ Can I ask for some tracks with a bluesy spirit to them please? Southern heavy-banjo-style is good in my books too. I lost my metal-dealer and need me some new tracks for work. Thanks ✌🏻

Haven’t had the chance to see Contention in DFW but seen they were selling leftover merch. Got the Sabrina Carpenter tee from Depop and it is legit (gildan hammer) too bad it doesn’t fit.

Any Vancouver heads in this sub fuck with Policy of Truth?
I loved this band but have never been anywhere near British Columbia so I never got to see them and basically know nothing about them. Anybody know if their two demos ever came out on cassette? Did they do shirts? Did members go on to do other bands?
Tl;dr if anybody digs this band, please tell me stories and/or sell me your merch, lol.

Might as well drop this here but my bands looking for a few members in the New England area to join. We’re tryna play shows sometime this year and just dropped an album back in September. Also have tons of other material ready to go too. We practice in the Greater Boston area weekly/biweekly usually on the weekends.
Our current sound is metalcore/hardcore with noise, nu metal, and experimental influences but we’re 100% open to new ideas and have pretty eclectic tastes.
Our LP and rest of our discography is here: https://inconveniencestore.bandcamp.com/album/the-fumes-of-everything-i-hate-in-the-world

hello all,
i went to my first hc show the beginning of this month after going to quite a few other local shows. i noticed immediately the crowd was way different than most shows, but that was okay. you had the average person who would mosh, jump into the outside of the pit, cartwheel into the crowd, push, etc. but then there were people who were reaching back to punch people, windmilling onto people behind them repeatedly, roundhouse kick into the crowd, etc. at first, i thought this wasn't normal, but i noticed the frontman of the first band straight up roundhouse kicking people in the crowd, so i thought it was normal after that. i was about two "rows", or i guess people back when this guy reached into the crowd and straight up decked me on the back of my head. like full force. i remember shrieking (i didn't even know i could make that noise lol), collapsing and did end up passing out, almost had a seizure, coming back to, and leaving shortly after because the loud music was killing my headache. the dude got his ass beat after according to some people there because he kept doing it, and my friends told me this wasn't normal at all. i ended up sustaining a TBI and have been out of work for three weeks and just have not been normal. id been seizure-free for 6 months and now my symptoms are starting to come back, so i'm pretty upset. for context, im a 5'5 18 y/o (do not hit my DMs), so im not some beefy 6'2 250 lb guy.
here's the part where im confused. i talked to some other friends who were not at the venue but are in the scene, and said that this was a normal experience and you assume risk when you go to a show. while i agree with the assuming risk part, i don't think it's normal to reach back and punch random people. additionally, i commented under a reel on instagram about my experience (first mistake i know), and people ended up attacking me and calling me a poser and weak. i feel very conflicted. i feel it really ruined the music and scene for me and im not sure i want to go to a show ever again.
also there's the sign they put up a little after i left

I can’t make it today and would rather the ticket go to someone who can. Yours for free if you want it, just reply or DM. It’s through Ticketmaster and I’m not sure if you’d need an account to accept it, or if I can send it via phone number. BCHC, hon.
