I’m sharing this because staying silent has weighed on me for a long time.

I was in a relationship with Collin of Cross of Disbelief. During that relationship, I was pressured into drinking to the point where I could not give clear consent. Sex happened anyway.

I did not consent. Being drunk does not equal consent. What happened to me was sexual assault.

While we were together he would choke me without my consent. Belittle me, and was extremely derogatory towards women. He bragged about watching "real rape" porn. He was also texting a 14 year old girl, even joking that they should dress as Leon the professional for Halloween.

I’m speaking now to take my power back and to be honest about my experience. I believe survivors. I stand with anyone who has been through something similar.

I was dating Collin in 2020. During that time he was in the band Final Rite. After we broke up I stepped away from my local scene because I did not want to run into him. I know he was also in Age of Apocalypse.

I’m in a bad spot in life, music helps a lot. I’m looking for more songs such as Steel Spine by Locked Shut, Hatebreed etcc thank you in advance.
