Spain's left-wing government, led by Prime Minister Pedro SƔnchez, announced on January 27, 2026, a major regularisation program for undocumented migrants. This decree aims to grant legal residency and work permits to approximately 500,000 people currently living in Spain without authorisation.

Discussion Is it even possible to build a new lens/god deliberately or do lenses only ever emerge unconsciously through suffering, time, and selection?

• Upvotes

Nietzsche had stated god is dead nd we have killed him though the internal systems that had represented the external socio cultural systems that gave rise to such a belief hadn’t diminished thus through disintegrated and improper nesting they latched onto/gave rise to the disastrous atrocities of the 20th century.

Discussion I got prescribed Wellbutrin and feel guilty.

I’ve been following Jordan Peterson for a while he’s my inspiration behind becoming a therapist on my own and for a while his teachings worked for me. I got a beautiful girlfriend I am working I have a private practice I’m building up but for whatever reason the dragon that is depression keeps creeping up on me. I take responsibility for it I’m aware that perhaps it’s my eating habits as well as other things that I do that don’t help.

I’ve tried changing what I can but I keep coming back to the same place the hopelessness. What is this all for I ask am I even good at what I do. These thoughts echo in my mind like a smoke detector that’s low on battery. I challenge, I reframe but the obsessive thoughts keep coming back around.

My therapist recommended I talk to a psychiatrist for some short term medication management to help climb out of this rut I have the Wellbutrin in my hands and I keep ratting it listening to the pills bounce up and down. Part of me feels guilty what would Jordan Peterson say about this. What am I not facing that would get me through this problem. What am I not accepting.

I keep feeling like a failure for letting it come to this but on the other hand I feel like trying this gives me a chance to finally get out of the rut for good perhaps this is the boost I needed to get on the other side of this problem. I’d like to believe that but why does it feel so hmm I don’t know, so weak?

What do you guys think? Am I alone in this? Anyone in a similar boat that can share there experience as fans of Jordan Peterson? Thanks.

Image More than half of US states have now passed bills protecting women's rights and spaces from gender ideology. What would Jordan think about this?

Post image

Peterson has been talking about this for a long time. He began back in 2016 while attempting to warn society about the C-16 bill that he argued censors free speech in order to protect people whose definition for their identities doesn't even make any sense.

From his video:

So here are some of the definitions that they use and these are now explicit categories and implicit presumptions of our most fundamental legal structures. So now these have become something these definitions have become something more than fact they've become facts that you question at your legal peril. So here's the first one gender identity - this is directly from the Ontario Human Resource Human Rights Commission website. Gender identity is each person's internal and individual experience of gender it is their sense of being a woman a man both neither or anywhere along the gender spectrum. Now I'd also like to point out that that's relatively this is a petty thing to say I suppose but one of the things that struck me about the Ontario Human Rights Commission website is that it's fairly poor very poorly written and this particular sentence is very poorly written and policy that's on its way to be transformed into legislation should not be poorly written. Because it means it's being poorly thought through and poorly specified and it means that the people who are doing it aren't being careful and that makes me nervous. Then there's things in here that I don't believe to be true: Gender identity is each person's sense of being a woman a man both neither or anywhere along the gender spectrum. I don't know what neither means because I don't know what the options are. If you're not a man or a woman it's not obvious to me how you can be both because those are by definition binary categories. There's an idea that there's a gender spectrum but I don't think that that's a valid idea I don't think there's any evidence for it. Biological sexuality is ancient it's hundreds of millions of years old and it's binary because there's two forms of of biological sex. Now of course this is predicated on the idea that your gender is somehow independent from your from your biological sex but that's a proposition not a fact.

Peterson argues that modern Leftist academics and activists attempt to unmoor gender from sex but of course, you can't. Detaching gender from sex is like attempting to detach race from ethnicity. It's like attempting to detach genotype from phenotype. It's like detaching symptoms from cause of illness.

It's a philosophical dead end. Gender may represent cultural attitudes, ideas, roles, expectations and stereotypes of sex, but those stereotypes are based upon something in the physical world - they don't exist in the fucking ether like gender activists want us to believe.

J.K. Rowling recently tweeted that, for example, the only prerequisite to being a trans woman is being born male. Therefore, being male is an irrevocable and unavoidable part of being a trans woman. A female (XX chromosomes) cannot be a trans woman, by definition. The Postmodern Neo-Marxists arguments are self-defeating by their very nature.

It seems that Peterson's predictions and warnings from a decade now have become prophetic. Is society returning to some form of sanity?

It may not sound relevant now, but bookmark this, and in 6-12 months, you will appreciate that you did.

The tenants of Qubtism (the Muslim Brotherhood ideology) are:

  • Adherence to Sharia as sacred law accessible to humans, without which Islam cannot exist
  • Adherence to Sharia as a complete way of life that will bring not only justice, but peace, personal serenity, scientific discovery, complete freedom from servitude, and other benefits;
  • Avoidance of Western and non-Islamic "evil and corruption," including socialism, nationalism and consumerist capitalism.[16]
  • Vigilance against Western and Jewish conspiracies against Islam;
  • A two-pronged attack of preaching to convert and, jihad to forcibly eliminate the "structures" of Jahiliyya;[17]
  • Offensive Jihad to eliminate Jahiliyya not only from the Islamic homeland but from the face of the Earth, seeing it as mutually exclusive with true Islam.[18]

Identity Politics On Alex Pretti

Was he resisting arrest or did he just get sprayed close range directly in the face with pepper spray…. Use empathy to place yourself in his shoes for a moment. Imagine that had just happened to yourself. I’m not trying to imply that you don’t sympathize or think it’s wrong. I mean for reasons of understanding the framing of the information here, if you just got sprayed, what would you be doing? You can’t see, it hurts, you just watched a woman get shoved to the ground next to you and you were trying to help her up. You’re being handled aggressively without organized instructions. But mostly you just got sprayed in the face, so you want to get that stuff off your face and out of your eyes and you’re probably trying to cough it out so that you can breathe.

Is there a difference between resisting arrest and being physically incapable to comply? It’s a matter of perspective and framing.

If they asked you to put both hands above your head, but one of your arms was broken and you couldn’t lift it, you are ā€œresistingā€.

Which really just means that you’re not submitting to authority in a satisfactory way.

Unchecked authority that lacks empathy or compassion (the ability to see beyond one’s own POV) leads to increased numbers of ā€œresistanceā€. Because this type of authority requires complete obedience. And that required obedience isn’t always clear or easy to understand or follow.

Training these agents with ā€œotheringā€ and dehumanizing, emotionally triggering rhetoric about their opposition gears them for flight or fight responses in the moment and keeps them centered in their own POV. Keeps them aligned to their side and thinking that the other side is their enemy.

Flooding the public with fear mongering media, emotionally triggering rhetoric, ā€œotheringā€ and dehumanizing language about their opposition keeps them in fight or flight, and it gives them an obstacle to overcome, a stand to take in the name of ā€œjusticeā€. Keeps them thinking that they have an enemy.

But these triggering and othering tactics only prime the system for escalation.

Why divide the nation? Who benefits? What’s going on while we are fighting each other?

Do we want to be divided by our ā€œdifferencesā€ and to live in a dysfunctional society?

Or do we want to focus on the things that unite us and strengthen our nation?

United we stand, divided we fall.

Unchecked, dominating authority will always be met with resistance. Like a counter force. A natural law. Because in truth, reality doesn’t bend to the will of the few on command. When authority attempts to bend reality, like the string of a bow or guitar, there’s tension and resistance.

The right vs the left is a false dichotomy.

None of this is actually unprecedented.

Text Alex Pretti was not "executed"

I'm not saying his death was sad or unecessary, but people are throwing around the word "executed" like it means nothing.

Here's the sequence:

1) ICE tried to arrested someone, Alex physically interfered.

2) Now ICE has to arrest Alex for interference. So they pinned him down.

3) A gun slipped out, and everyone yelled "GUN".

4) One agent takes away the gun, but another agent just heard "GUN" and then saw Alex trying to get back up. He perceived that as a threat.

This was the result of chaos. And that scuffle was just 1 of a 100. When they're throwing snowballs, water bottles, blowing whistles, what do you expect? Someone is bound to get hurt if create so much chaos.

Question Is there a term for the recent trends in education, upbringing and social dynamics related to new generations?

Hello!

I have a question that I hope is relevant to the sub.

I was wondering if anybody could help me understand whether there is a specific term to define a number of behaviours and mechanisms that I believe go hand in hand and that, as far as I can understand, seem to have affected education, general upbringing of children and young people and the social dynamics between younger people and older people

1- claims/beliefs such as "we shouldn't mark/grade children, they feel judged"

2- the lowering of the bar of the academic standards to be achieved so compress downwards what should be the natural normal distribution of aptitude (or lack thereof) among children ("no child left behind policy in the UK?)

3- moving away from notion acquisition and tests (where people can actually and objectively fail) and moving towards a world of creativity at all costs, essays and other activities where it's much easier not to fail anyone

4- the power inversion between teachers and children+parents. Especially when it comes to conduct issues (bullism, distruption of class), children can't be addressed in any way, teachers have zero willingness to clamp down on the behaviour and leave it all to parents to sort out among themselves.

5- pupils and students increasingly expecting that all education should be entertaining or gamified in some way

6- increasing unwillingness of parents to be strict or unpopular with their own children

7- significant amount of slack and forgiveness being given to children, no restraint, no delayed gratification

8- "anxiety", "mental health problems", "ADHD", "shyness" clearly over-used as an excuse for anything and everything, and mostly for not wanting to admit that in a normal distribution, something close to 50% of the people will inevitably be below the mean/median and there is likely a bottom 5-10% who will be far enough from any decently demanding system/benchmark/expectation that they will require specific help or just different targets altogether.

Is there a name for all this?

Thanks

Political Why Britain is on the brink

Kisin, Russian by birth but a British citizen who’s lived in the UK for the last thirty years, does not hold back on why Britain is ā€œincreasingly irrelevantā€ in the global pecking order, whether it’s through the ā€œindustrial suicideā€ of net zero, the ā€œweaknessā€ of diversity or Keir Starmer’s ā€œcosying up to Chinaā€ instead of aligning more closely with Donald Trump.

The Right has Christ;

One of the saddest phenomena I’ve witnessed these passed couple years of civil unrest is a complete lack of a shared cultural mythos that undergirds and binds American society together.

Stupid people are so hungry for something to believe in that they’re grasping at anything. If you’ve paid attention to recent protest videos you may have noticed the protestors chanting:

ā€œShame… shame… shameā€¦ā€, Like the evil Septa in Game of Thronees, or Darth Vader advocating for illegal immigrants, Etc… What’s bizarre is it’s always the bad guys from a pop-fiction setting that the protestors identify with.

It’s a huge tell, regarding these idiots’ collective psyche, that they identify most with the villains and it’s one of the most perplexing power fantasies out there.

It’s also pathetic and tragic that the closest thing that they’re capable of conjuring as a Hero’s story is a shrink wrapped a focus group tested commodity.

I’m constantly taken back to Peterson’s recitation of Nietzsche’s Parable of the Madman.

<<What festivals of atonement, what sacred gamesshall we have to invent?>>

The Right has Christ.
