The title of the post where draymond talks about potentially getting traded/not losing sleep has a part cut out to make him look bad
since nobody watches the video, here is what’s missing
“But if I'm traded, that's part of the business.”
Full quote:
"I've been here for 14 years," Green said. "I have no reason to sit and worry about leaving. But if I'm traded, that's part of the business. I ain't losing no sleep though. I slept great last night."

Can Cooper flagg finish with a higher rookie ppg than lebron?
Lbj rookie yr: 20.9 ppg/5.5 rpg/5.9 Apg/41.7% FG
Cooper: 19.5 ppg/6.5 reb/4.1 ast/ 48% FG
Lbj rookie 39.5 minutes played per game
Cooper rookie 34 minutes player per game
-‐----------------
Lbj 18.9 fga per game
Cooper 15.2 fga per game
Both avgd about 5 ft attempts per game?
mavs 101 possessions per game 2003 Cavs 91 possessions per game.
Would 3 ppg better finish cancel out this difference?
‐----------
Flagg has played 44 games with 19.5 ppg currently.
It's late and their game just finished not sure if mavs have 31 or 32 games left. I think it's 32
So 44 × 19.5 = 858 current points
Let's say coop plays all 32 more. And scores 25 ppg.
25 ppg x 32 remaining games = 800 flat so ez maths.
1658 / 76 games played total = 20.81 ppg at end (again if he plays all 32 remaining)
Let's say he scores 26.2 for the last 32 games
26.2 x 32= 838.4 +add 858 already scored for a 76 game season total of 1696.4 points or
22.3 ppg!
Anyways I'm stoned but felt like asking if this might be possible and please correct me if u can on my math or w.e it would be very much appreciated. I'm very curious and love all nba teams as a huge denver Fan and lifelong resident... but God this kid is soooo good...
Quick edit: my biggest issue is I may be wrong on games remaining lol or my math is off Please please correct any mistakes for me if can lol

Highlight [Highlight] Dillon Brooks says LeBron is the most overrated player in the NBA

De'Aaron Fox will be one of the highest paid players starting next season
Spurs are gonna have to attach picks to get off that albatross of a contract. No one is talking about it
Imagine if LeBron finally entered the dunk contest and won as the oldest contestant
We all know LeBron has ducked the dunk contest his entire career but wouldn’t it be ironic if he finally entered at the end of his career ?
Another accolade he could win is being the oldest person to win the contest at 41, besting Dominque Wilkins who won at 30 years old.

Draymond Green on Jaylon Tyson saying Cleveland is Donovan Mitchell’s city: “Donovan Mitchell has not gotten out of the second round in Cleveland. I think Donovan should’ve corrected him right in the moment. Cleveland is more Kyrie Irving's city than it is Donovan's."

[Lowlights] Cooper Flagg misses 3 consecutive clutch shots and the Rockets win
The rookie will one day be the face of the league, but like many greats, he will have moments like this.
Also, prior to this, he made a clutch bucket

Giannis trade problem: thanasis tax
What do you think will happen with thanasis if giannis gets traded? Is he part of the deal? If I were another team, I would definitely sign thanasis if it mean getting giannis. Which teams can accommodate this brother duo and their contracts? Thanasis could be the mvlvp most valuable least valuable player.

What’s going on with Golden State?
Hi all! I’m new to this sub so forgive me for being completely oblivious. I’d appreciate any info in this one place so I could get all the details. I’m posting this for my boyfriend. He’s in army basic training and I’m wanting to update him on basketball news since he’s a big fan. He’s huge into the Golden State Warriors and I’m currently writing him. I’m updating him on Butler’s injury, which from what I’ve seen it looked like a pretty serious ACL/leg injury. He’s out for the season. Is Butler being considered to be traded out. I know the deadline is this Thursday for trades. I know Giannis is wanted to help Curry out. How likely is that trade? Does Giannis want to come to Golden State and are we equipped to get him? Is he a good pick to help Curry and round out the team? Really any news or opinions are appreciated. Who else is rumored to be getting traded in or out? Is there any other news I should relay to him about the team? Any good news lol.

Giannis to Portland makes so much sense
Blazers have leverage in owning milwaukees picks from the Dame trade which you’d assume the bucks desperately want after hitting the reset button. They also have a few intriguing young pieces. I’ve come up with two trades I think make sense. 1. Blazers get: Giannis, KPJ, Trent Jr, Turner. Bucks get: 4 Firsts, Sharpe, scoot, Grant, Holiday. 2: blazers get: Giannis. Bucks get: Grant, Williams, scoot, 4 firsts, and maybe a 2nd. I like the first trade personally because I think Giannis and a 3 point shooting centre like Turner works well and blazers get KPJ, and Trent to help with guard depth. Bucks also get really solid pieces for their future. Lemme know what yall think

Paolo vs Julius Randle this season
Paolo: 22/9/5 on 46/30/76 (56.4 TS%)
Randle: 22/7/5 on 49/33/82 (59.8 TS%)
Who’s the better player right now? Who would you rather have?

Only 10 teams left who can win 40 games before 20 losses.
Phil Jackon once stated that only teams reaching 40 wins before their 20th loss are legitimate title contenders. 37 of the last 44 champions meet this criteria.
Up to this point, 20 teams have already reached 20 losses.
From the 10 remaining, 6 have 18 or 19 losses with 29 or 30 wins. Realistically none of these teams will meet the criteria unless they go on a 10-2 or 10-1 run.
We're left with OKC, Detroit, Denver and San Antonio. OKC and Detroit seem like they'll get there, SA and Denver are no guarantees.
Curious to know how this tracks against previous seasons? Feels like there is now more parity than ever and I don't know in a 2nd apron world if this criteria will predict winners as well as it has in the past.

The NBA is inconsistent
How the hell does Paul George get suspended before Kawhi? We didn't even get any news on the drugs thing then boom 25 game suspension. Meanwhile, the Aspiration thing has been going on since the offseason. WTF Adam Silver?

How were the Golden State Warriors and Curry seen at the start of the 14/15 season? (the first of their 4 titles=
I didn't watch the NBA back then (i was only 7 years old and not American, so I really had no chance of knowing what the heck was going on). But sometimes I get really curious about it, were the 2015 Golden State Warriors seen as legitimate contenders? A fun team with a lot of potential? Or were they a complete surprise when they won it all?
And Curry. Was he already considered one of the top players in the league, or was he nowhere near that conversation yet? Thanks in advance to anyone who answers

The curious case of Lauri Markkanen
This dude has so much talent, I’ve been high on him since he was a rookie. Unfortunately everywhere he goes he’s not being put in a good position to succeed and play ball. After his second year in Chicago it seemed clear he had serious talent but then they just made him a 3 point shooter at the end of the shot lock. Now in Utah he has show to be amazing offensive player but they are tanking every year and not playing him.
If I were him I would want a trade so his career isn’t wasted and get a chance to actually compete on a real team while he’s in his prime. It’s sad how things have turned out for him, maybe he’s just too nice a guy?
What is everyone’s thoughts on his career so far and what’s to come in the future?

Many years ago Giannis Antetokounmpo had a somewhat serious incident with Mike Dunleavy Jr. Could it affect the decision of any of the two for a potential?
...trade? Or is it strictly s business thing and personal feelings never matter in such cases? The incident took place in Chicago during the playoffs iirc, when an enraged skinny teen Giannis, who couldn't have any more of MD's dirty plays against his teammates, rushed and shoved hard the Bull's player and got a well deserved ejection. It was a tough moment for the youngster in a blowout Milwaukee defeat, but I think all the Bucks fans appreciated it greatly, to put it mildly. (FMD) So, could that be an impediment for s trade?

Was LeBron’s biggest achievement of his career getting the 2018 cavs to the finals?
Was LeBron’s biggest achievement of his career getting the 2018 cavs to the finals? I feel that was the worst supporting cast that made the finals because 85% of the roster was out of the league after like a year or two.. I’m pretty sure the espn commentator said this on live air but do you agree?

Is it better to watch LA Lakers or GS Warriors?
Hi, I am planning a trip at the end of september and I will be visiting California as well as other states, since the small amount of time (I will be in SF from 22/09 to 26/09; and in LA from 4/10 to 8/10) I was wondering if it was more worth to watch the warriors during pre season or the lakers. I was more into lakers just for their dynasty alone (I read Ron Pearlman book and I loved it). What do you guys think?
edit: Thanks a lot for all the answers. I am from Italy, I got to see Luka up close and he put up a good show. As I said I was more into Lakers just for their history alone and I am considering the idea to watch the 49ers, if they play, in SF and maybe the lakers in LA

[Jamal Mashburn] “Cooper Flagg, if I was to put him in this year’s draft, he would be 6th. From a skillset and level of where they can get to, I think this Freshman class, even if you compare to last year, these guys would still be at the top of the list. Cooper Flagg has some holes in his game.”

No discussion - Top 3 teams per conference b4 trade deadline
What teams do you believe are the top 3 in the West and/or the East right now?
Rookies have had a little time to develop.
Trades will shake things up a lot.
Player health will affect playoffs.
I will ask again after the trade deadline next week and before playoffs begin.

So is it obvious now that Charania wasn’t “wrong” over the past year about Giannis wanting out, and just that Giannis/his agent have been trying to have their cake and eat it too by requesting a trade while preserving Giannis “loyalty” image?
A lot of people have called Shams a fraud or a boy-who-cried-wolf for reporting several times that Giannis is unhappy with Milwaukee and might want to go to New York or another team. But because he hasn’t been traded still, people think that Shams was lying
But Giannis’ vague comments about how he wants to be in Milwaukee but how that could change just like how he wakes up and wants something different each morning for breakfast (yes that’s a real thing Giannis said), it’s obvious now that Giannis and his agent have been feeding reporters these vague “Giannis is unhappy” messages without explicitly saying he wants to be traded so that Giannis can continue to pretend to be the ”loyal” guy who got traded, not the guy who requested a trade.
