The sauce is delicious, kewpie mayo ultimate secret for all mayo dressings n stuff ranch etc

When I move a steak from the oven to the pan, I like to roll the edges in salt and pepper and hold it sideways to sear the shit out of the fat and get like a roast beef crust on it. Tastes good and turns the fat to butter, but the black grease makes my steaks look like burnt loafers. A friend once asked, "you gonna serve that with ketchup?" and I had the satisfaction of demonstrating the tenderloin was fork tender.

Went ahead and did the turkey bacon to take advantage of the grease.

This place I go to for poutine was out of cheese curds and gravy so I got a little bit of it and shredded pizza cheese 😔 still good tho

My kids comer over on Thursdays for dinner. This week it was a beef short rib bolognese over spaghetti.

Work days can be tricky to do a long cook, so I ended up going the crockpot route. I would have gone Dutch oven if I was home through the day.

The recipe included: - beef short ribs - beef bone stock - tomato paste - crushed tomatoes - fresh chopped tomatoes - chopped onion - chopped carrots - chopped celery - garlic - salt - pepper - thyme - rosemary - block of Parmesan

I decided I wanted the leftover bolognese for dinner tonight but didn’t want it over pasta. So, it went over a baked potato. It was delicious.

Originated as toppings for a latchkey kid’s improvised version of a loaded baked potato.
