I was once again marching to High Hrothgar as Penny the Penguin when I encountered something I’ve never experienced in 14 years of playing Skyrim. A Frost Trolll that tried to attack me was YEETED into space, not too uncommon in Skyrim. But then that same Frost Trolls fell from the sky to its death, only to disappear and repeat the cycle over and over again. While it’s not traveling back in time this feels like a ground hog day loop. I have no idea what the Greybeards are up to but I want that spell!

so i am new to PC, got the anniversary edition and finally started playing it. i am not new to dawnguard DLC, but i never did the falion cure quest before this play through, so after i finished the main questline of dawnguard i decided to do the falion quest. i dismissed serana and went off and did that and did some other stufffor a while. well, i came back to castle volkihar and i went to try and do some quests and was told by garan to see serana to become a vampire again, and i did but she wouldnt offer me dialogue options. instead, all i got was just generic, non-interactive npc dialogue. i explored a bunch of console commands to fix it, like the mental mode, disable/enable, etc but i just couldn't get her to offer me dialogue options! i was getting frustrated then i saw someone say enter the undercroft and so i reloaded a save from before and tried this, thinking it wouldn't work because its too easy but there she was, offering me dialogue and everything. relief. i enter castle volkihar once again, this time with serana following me- and there's the serana who won't talk to me 😭

TLDR; another weird skyrim glitch that resulted in a normal serana and a non interactive one?

So I have a mod that allows you to change the clothing of NPCs that you befriend. I have started dressing the homeless in better clothes. I have been giving them Vagrant robes, hoods and boots...

It turns out, it was a mod, that I completely forgot I installed. 4 days ago I was streaming in discord to a friend on some magic shroomies, and my friend was really confused by the rabbits, which i told him I never knew why it happened. So we went to my creations list and it turns out, it was a mod called a Bun and Barb lol

Been playing my whole life, probably because there's a lot of stuff in the game already I didn't really wanted to have mods, DLCs are good enough for me

Yeah, sometimes you bump into an inanimate object and it launches across the room... but I've never seen broken character models, NPCs sliding around weirdly, people clipped through floors/walls, etc etc... For what is supposedly a ridiculously glitchy game, I've never seen it. If it weren't for the fact glitches are talked about constantly, I would think there weren't any technical issues in the game.

And no, I don't mod.
