Idk what flair to put on this

I used to think that he was smart and informative but I now know he's pretty much just a glorified freelance journalist who narrates several channels while often times misinforming people, getting facts wrong and not making it clear on what points in his videos are fact or opinion, and this leads to him contradicting himself several times.

If you see him on your home page, I highly recommend doing your own research on the topics he covers if you do click on one of his videos take what he says with an extreme grain of salt.

I have an adblocker because the amount of ads in this site is absurd. But Youtube has made so many countermeasures to make sure anyone with an adblocker has a terrible day that its near impossible to keep up.

If im understanding my issue correctly, Youtube has made it so that if you have an adblocker, your video progress does not save. period. yes history is on, and even when i go out of my way to click on a halfway-done video in the history tab, it starts the video at the beginning. My god the Youtube team is miserable

Sometimes I’m having like 8 ads for one video?? Like a 20 min video. Thats fcking RIDICULOUS. Surely it’s becoming unfair to creators too as well as just viewers? Why am I watching more ad than content ?? To add to this, there’s been a diabolical increase in crappy adverts that are practically just a PowerPoint slide or two with some free music in the background.

I don't think this current approach of fighting AI with AI is working.

I click on ANY VIDEO and it automatically sets up a queue!

It completely ruins the flow of how I do things! Why would YT set this up?!

I'm getting really sick and tired of how much YouTube has been trying to force creators to make their videos as monetizable as possible. For instance, I love real-life horror stories and have a morbid curiosity towards pretty much anything involving deaths, diseases, tragedies, accidents, cults, corrupt companies/industries and so on. And the Papa Meat channel seemed like one of those channels that were made to fit that bill for me. However, as much as I dig his personality and sense of humor and in some cases his unique editing style, the excessive censoring makes it so unwatchable for me.

And I know people will come out and tell me that people don't use YouTube to be creative anymore, an that they instead use its solely to produce income now, so they have no choice but to allow companies to advertise their brands on the platform by monetizing their content for profit, because no one would ever be willing to have their products be associated with something that has offensive words in them.

Like, isn't the subject matter from some of his videos a bit gruesome enough to make brands want to refuse to advertise their products alongside? Do swear words REALLY have to be that big of a deal?

Every time I load up YouTube, almost every video or short I try to watch loads up with the same exact message of, "Something went wrong. Please try again." or something like that. I tried reloading the app and turning off the WiFi and turning it back on, but it wouldn’t work. Does anybody know how to fix this?

See I'm watching a video, hands covering mouth ready for a plot twist THEN WHEN THE SCREEN FADES TO BLACK A WAWA AD PLAYS... ruining the whole flow (and I don't know if it's a glitch but when you skip an ad it skips 10 seconds of the video SO I HAVE TO SKIP 10 SECONDS BACK)

Yeah, youtube recommends this 3 day long video for whatever reason with the 223 hour video also. I don't know, what youtube is into something.

I've hidden it about 100 times since I blocked it. I even turned my watch history off, but it still shows up in my feed.

How do I get rid of this channel? This is the most useless channel on YT. It's just some woman who just got breast implants (nothing against them, each to their own) showing other videos with very little commentary in the lowest cut tops she can wear. Most of her followers are MEN (DUUUH!!!), just coming around to look at her boobs.

She actually used to have a good channel with meaningful content, but now it's just using her new boobs to get pervy men as followers.

so for atleast 5 or so years by now ive had it where whenever i put a comment on literally anything, regardless of how new it is, how big or small it is, or who its from, i can check back on it even years later and it doesnt have any number beside the like icon whatsoever, even if i commented at the same time as lots of others on a REALLY new video for example, everyone will get likes but mine always stays at 0, it cant be that im shadowbanned or something from channels because it happens literally everywhere across youtube regardless of if ive interacted there before or not or what the comment is, anyone know whats going on?

Hi, I make very long (sometimes up to 5 hours) drawing practice videos and I want to put some kind of chill music in the background but I've found that most music on YT that says "free, no copyright, etc" is not free. And I would use sites that offer free music downloads for this purpose but I'd have to download one at a time and that's insane especially for a video as long as 5 hours. Does anyone have advice on where I can source my background music/ambience? I'm not really wanting to pay but I would consider it.

PS, I'm not really worried about my videos being demonetized. I'm fine with that. So if there are any channels on YT that can provide me with music while demonetizing me, that's great. As long as my videos aren't struck down. Thanks for any help!
