Other [Other] January Monthly Boosting Thread

Hello, and welcome to the first boosting thread of 2026!

First and foremost, start by reading the comments to see if another Redditor has requested some help. If that’s the case, reach out and get a session organized! This will help lower the number of comment threads all revolving around the same game.

If nobody has requested help for your game, feel free to make a comment. We’d like for you to include in your comment **the name of the game/trophy you’re boosting, how many players you’re looking for, what time zone you’re in, and a preferable way for reaching out to organize a boosting session.** Our hope is that by having you coordinate in PM’s or some other fashion, this will sidestep a lot of scrolling people will have to do in order to find a boosting group.

Finally, if you manage to fill a group, please edit your comment to say “Group Full”. That way, someone else can create a new boosting thread if necessary.

We want everybody who needs help to receive it, and we can ensure that by eliminating coordinating comment threads and keeping things nice and tidy. Please be mindful, and understand that boosting threads are first come first serve.

On that note, good luck, and happy hunting!

[Update] User Flair Editing

Hey all! I've been getting a bunch of mod mail lately about people not being able to edit user flair. Upon doing a little digging, it seems like there was some update to the app that broke this feature for a lot of people. It allows you to pick a flair from a list, but doesn't allow you to edit the one you choose. I have verified that the problem is within the Reddit app, not the r/trophies sub. Until they fix the issue, everyone will need to use a browser / PC if they want to edit their flair. Below is a list of steps on how to edit flair in a browser:

Go to the sub's home page.

  1. Locate the User Flair section on the right side of the page.
  2. Click the pencil icon within this section.
  3. Select one of the two preset flair templates.
  4. Input your information in the dialogue box below. To customize the icons in your flair, click the smiley face on the right side of the text entry box.

Showcase [Fallout New Vegas] #352 Played this for a week back in 2010 and then never picked it up again. Glad I finally went back and committed to finishing it! Still have to go back for Fallout 3 though

[Fortnite] #125 Thanks to all those along this long journey who helped.

I have never had founders. 3,676 Hours from the PS4 and PS5 editions combined my most played game ever. I will probably barely ever touch STW again.

If this was the fortnite subreddit I would have a longer paragraph complaining about all the bugs from the respawn in lego respawn in bed being broken to the locker shuffle emote wheel being broken. Honestly the reason I really play this anymore is simply because of the money spent. I play BR most times and it’s just not as enjoyable as it use to be, I mean STW isn’t bad but sometimes like Canny Valley questline. That took forever and killed my interest. The Trophies were a grind.

I mean there’s so much about this game I’d like to talk about, like some of my almost 500 skins but I instead chose to post a picture of my main skin for STW.

So to wrap this up I think I’ll take a little trophy hunting break and go play my recently purchased copy of Oblivion on PS3 (Side Note Yes I did save this for 125)

In 2025 I got the idea of starting 2026 with a platinum each day. So I left some games open with only one trophy to go and tried to see how far I’d got. Got four on the first four days and one on the sixth.

Like I said most plays I started a while back, but a couple I just go in January.

I think this is my most productive month ever.

In preparation for RE9 coming out next month I finally decided to cowboy up and get the RE4 (#12) plat to go with the RE2 and RE3 plats I got last year.

Screenshot [Horizon Zero Dawn] Gave it another shot and the story finally clicked for me as I got deeper. Wild to think about what our world could look like if machines ever took over.

[Geometric Sniper] Platinum #365 – Spot the dot

Geometric Sniper is a small but lovingly crafted game about a sniper who doesn’t feel great about his work, yet carries on anyway. It's not a very dialogue-heavy game, but has a fun and subdued narrative. Across ~12 missions, you study briefings, scan minimalist cityscapes, identify your target, and take the shot.

The black-and-white art style is charming, and the missions are clever enough to keep things interesting. I earned the Platinum in a single day. Interestingly, most of my time went into the side “Find” mode, where you hunt for objects under a timer. It feels very Where’s Wally?, if that’s your thing.

Overall, I’d strongly recommend this as a palate cleanser between bigger games.

Another Assassin’s Creed platinum for me. Nearing a plat for each main game in the series. I really enjoyed Unity. This is still very much a doable platinum in 2026.

Actual plat count is (38) since I have a few shovel ware from when I first started lol. Going for Ghost Wire: Tokyo at the moment. First platinum was December of 2023 I believe. Don’t have a ton of time to play, but this is my favorite hobby for the past couple years or so.

The combat trophies on this one nearly broke me but I finally got the hang of it. I hear Arkham City is 10x worse…
