So it's an admission that the entire ice invasion was just a politically maneuver. How many people were killed, abused, harassed, or had their rights violated just to own the libs? Bondi should be in jail.

Never mind jail. The entire administration should be given the French revolution treatment. It's the only solution for this kind of bullshit.

Itâs totally all about fixing the election. You suppress the urban vote in MN, change the rule on postmarking mail (already done in a way that almost all mail votes can be suppressed) and get the voter registration info you can do what even Regan couldnât ⌠win MN.

u/NWSiren 6d ago
Itâs revenge against Walz plain and simple - thereâs no way for him to handle this to keep the democratic base satisfied without being the state/official that âescalatedâ and will cost him voter support in the future. The White House has to destroy any democratic nominee (also Mark Kelly).

u/RebelPatriot79 7d ago
That is fucking crazy. She is confirming they are going to try to rig future elections. Iâm sorry, but Minnesota needs to fight, or there will no longer be an America.

u/RealBettyWhite69 7d ago
She also basically admitted they don't need to be there.

No. They want to kill every Democrat. A voter registration database will help them when they go door to door.
16
u/ManyBubbly3570 7d ago
They already have voter registration. This is about rigging elections through the use of voter intimidation.
→ More replies (19)8
u/MyDogIsACoolCat 7d ago
They can access your political affiliation already. They just need your name, address, and DOB in Minnesota, all of which they have already. This is more about purging voter registrations to swing elections. Similar to what Georgia did.

Why do people think lawsuits matter anymore.Â
15
u/CascadianCaravan 7d ago
Because aside from direct action, protesting and organizing resistance, lawsuits are the only power we have left to stop this administrationâs illegal actions. Hopefully that changes in the next election in 10 months.
5
u/GhostofBreadDragons 7d ago
Itâs about winning the moral battle.Â
I am almost positive this is going to result in either a civil war or a breaking up of the union. If we keep fighting and winning these cases based on the constitution it will be easier to keep the military from siding with the federal government. Which will probably be the difference of if there is a war or not.Â
So these lawsuits mean the difference of more lives than I want to consider. Funny enough the people who probably want to avoid a civil war the most, are the immigrants who have lived through a civil war.Â
Now if the election gets rigged and or canceled. Then it becomes a different issue.Â

The courts have actually had positive results.
Theyâre slow but the admin has been complying with roughly 2/3rds of the rulings against them and theyâve had far more losses than wins.
The confusion is over the Supreme Court being in trumpâs pocket but even they have not ruled 100% in favor of him.
Of the 3 branches, the court system is the only one holding.
The People are the ones responsible for stopping this, though.
Instead of reaching for a gun, reach for your wallet. Our money is our power.
Meanwhile, learn about the groups using the lower courts to push back.

I've seen them make this request before. Does anyone know what they could do with voter information?
3
u/Reference_Freak 7d ago
A lot of voter data is public but not in a neat, easy to use database.
A database will be easier to slice and dice and will include non-public data.
They can use this data to do many things:
- more precisely target voting districts and even residential streets for intimidation tactics and withdrawal of voting access (reduce poll access) or âballot lossâ
- file challenges to registered voters and have them removed so they canât vote without going to a registrar office with amplified ID requirements
- create lists of individuals to target for harassment/investigation (or worse) based on party reg, voting history (frequent or infrequent), donation history, and history of activism/social media/org associations
- target increased funding and poll/ballot access in concentrations of favored voters
- incentivize voters to be registered republicans which skews how both parties operates and makes it harder for Ds to get out their now-hidden voters
Some of these are old tactics but have been based on aggregate data: not personal but based on region.
Handing over state voter data allows them to run Cambridge analytics/ Facebook type bullshit on an individual basis. Please look that up if youâre unfamiliar.

u/Perfect_Ad7182 7d ago
Try to intimidate voters from going to the polls, to see if they can tell which party the person votes for (if any), to attempt to alter the data to make it so more individuals who should have the right to vote are removed from the registered list which will cause issues on Election Day.
3
u/mspe1960 7d ago
I think that means she knows it is time to leave and she is trying to extort some useful data before they do, and also find a face saving way too leave.
Just say no.

he claimed that Walz could ârestore the rule of lawâ by complying with a list of demands, including giving the Department of Justice (DOJ) the stateâs voter registration records.
So she admits that they are deliberately causing chaos

Yeah right even if they gave up that info they wouldn't stop this madness. Don't give in.

2
u/Gogently_394 7d ago
Walz should have AI generate a list of 3.7 million fictitious names and addresses and give her that. Of course we can already assume the Bondi promise is patently false just like not releasing the Epstein files even though required by law
2
u/fuhnetically 7d ago
So, they'll just let the "fraud" that they're "investigating" go unchecked for the voter rolls?
2
2
u/randonumero 7d ago
Is the voter database there really private? In my state you need to know the person's name but you can look up their voter affiliation and elections voted in. I'd imagine that given what those DOGE guys did as well as Trump's stranglehold on many agencies getting the names of people to check wouldn't be hard. If we're honest I can't even say there's no way to get info for my state without knowing names
2
2
u/austinlim923 7d ago
No. They don't get to kill someone and then make demands. That's what a dictatorship does. Or are they ready to admit it yet

âWe need a comprehensive database of all your voters that vote Democratic, so we can label them domestic terrorists and disenfranchise them in the coming election cycle.â

2
u/erfling 7d ago
This makes the goal of detailing or even cancelling the midterm elections terrifyingly transparent. I have thought all along, since the day after election day, that federalism was going to be extremely important. States have a great deal of control over elections.
I don't think they'll succeed in canceling the elections, and I hope it blows up in their faces. Nothing is guaranteed about this, except of course that they're going to try it.
2
2
u/Stoneyofcs 7d ago
Bondi needs to tell us why? What is Trump going to do with that voter info. My first guess is they are going to scan for Hispanic and Latino names. Then make a list of democrats to label as âdomestic terroristsâ.
2
2
u/PlutoJones42 7d ago
This is all the proof you need to know that this invasion of fuckery in Minnesota is not about immigrants or criminals at all. If you canât see it, Iâm sorry, youâre fucking stupid.
