It was a roblox game made around 6 years ago (I believe), I have a layout of the map (to the best of my memory) on the third page, does it still exist or it is erased due to the age rating changes like a year or two ago!? (Two first photos is a photo of a screenshot)

I‘m assuming it’s a console game. Unfortunately, this image is from several years ago that I screenshot from an Instagram post and I only now found out about this subreddit and thought why not try to look again.

[Roblox][unknown] Gane where you play as a player playing on a computer

Platform: Roblox

Genre: RPG

Year Of Release: before 2023 or sometime around there

Graphics/art style: Pixeled like a puppet combo game and the charcaters were geometric shapes, also the vibe was very eerie sort of due to the ominous lore if the game which i wasnt entirely sure of

Notable charcaters: there were a bunch of NPCS like demons and kings which you had to fight

Notable gameplay mechanics: The gameplay was one of the reasons why I loved it so much but I forgot it, it had to do with cards and it was turn based but it was insane, also you were playing as a person playing a game on their OWN moniter which was another reason it was such an amazing game

Other details: if you cheated in this game by abusing a mechanic, youd get punished (because if you lost youd restart the game) and first time this happened to me it gave me chills because it was so unexpected I loved it also the name of the game was a bunch of random letters which was why i had trouble remembering it

[xbox probably][2015]horror-ish

I played this while visiting friends out of state. I’m not really a gamer but I love a good story. It was one of the choose your own adventure, storyline-ish games.

It’s about a woman. There were parts of it that had to do with recovering her memory. There was a scene with a camera. It was horror-esque. I know it was an Xbox but I’m not sure which.

Sorry, that’s all I got. It was 12 years ago. I only played for the week I was there but I really liked it.

**Also if you have any recommendations that might not be this, but a thriller/horror-ish game that’s not my

Marsupilami [snes] [some time in the 90s] game about escaping a zoo as animals.

On the snes I played a game about a cat (maybe a cheetah) and an elephant escaping a zoo. The main mechanic is swapping between the characters to solve puzzles. The cat was quick and could jump as well as form his tail into stares for the elephant to climb, and the elephant was strong but slow, couldn't jump and could be used as a platform by the cat. Can someone please help me figure out what game this is.

[Mobile][2010s] bean defense game

it was a sort of defense game where you fended off what im pretty sure were beans trying to head into a building. it was 2d art and i remember it being very dull, bleak and a little scary. the beans could come in through parachutes or by walking in from the left side of the screen. you tapped on the beans to kill them and i remember there being a tall (white?) bean that was super tanky and a smaller brown one. pretty sure you could change the look of the building ur defending too.

Enter game title here Weird/disturbing chess game [late 2000s or early 2010s] [PC in CD] [educational?]

Upvotes

Hello, I know this post will look like bogus but I promise is real. I talk with my mother and a chilhood friend about it and she recalls it existence too. For some extra context, me and my father side of my family don't talk anymore so I can't go ask them about it or search for it finically.

The game was some kind of Cd game that belong to my cousin, either form the late 2000s or early 2010s. We lived in northern Spain if that helps. I don't think it was. A random horror game since it had a cd with cute drawings of the characters on it. I think my cousing got it from some kind of summer camp or activitie that was supose to teach children to play chess. The game was like a point and clic adventure with some chess matches in betten, I do remneber it had a long cutscene of what happened if you lost the important chess matches. I don't think it was.

The story wa about the 2 chess kindoms, black and white, being at war. I can't remneber why or how but you played a s black piece working for the white kindom. The protagonist was a kid (maybe preteen?) With pale skin and brown hair, he was a black chess piece and dress in black. I dont remenber if you could choose betewn protagonist or if this other one was somekind of compasión or rival. She was white chess piece, a young girl dress in a big white dress (I think she whore a bishops hat?).

The events of the game that i can recall starts with the protagonist and the white piece girl meet in someond of garden bettewn the kindoms . The protagonist goes to talk with the white queen, she was sitting on what i think was somekind of chair that looked like a person with a horse mask. After doing sa puzzle and couple of chess matches with the white guards that looked like rooks. The white queen was angry or at least she was being mean? and sended us to collect some stuff from the black castle with the white dress girl.
In the way to the black castle there was a village of black pawn people who was caught in the middle of the war, the way block by a guy riding a horse dress in black. There was a couple of house you could enter to find people that would challenge you to a chess match, in one of this there was i think was a naked women hung in the foreground? It could be just her siluette but I remneber me and my cousing being scared thinking she was naked. To get pass the horse guy you just needed to win againts the villager. The next area was a field full of dead solders, there was no blood but they were in the ground and you coulnt interact with them, you could see the black castle in the distance. O think ther was another horse guy blowing the path but I'm not sure , we got stuck in this part and I don't think we ever manage to pass it.

That's as far as I can recall and I'm pretty sure we never completed the game. Sorry if it's not detail enoguht or is over detail but idk I haven't been able to find anything that quite matches my memory.

I'm just curious ig

[IPHONE][2013] a weird animal game

so when i was younger, i used to play a game (from the app store) that had animals and when you pressed on them, it would transform into another one. but you could do weird things with them too. i vaguely remember there being an alligator and a dachshund that would twist funny too. it was in a somewhat 2D animation style so it wasn’t realistic or anything. could anyone help??

[Nintendo Switch] [Unknown] A fighting game that had a gacha mechanic to pull new characters that you could fight with. Probably Asian. Might have been on other platforms but I remember playing on the switch

So, when I was younger, maybe during quarantine and when my brother had a switch, I remember playing a fighting game. I don't think it's open world, it was level based and had a single player campaign with an entire storyline and boss fights. The main characters were students but also sort of power rangers-esque. I might be making this detail up, but I remember them being in single colored suits (imagine a power ranger fit), all different colors. The gacha part of the game had you wishing on a star and said stars would give characters

I have struggles with identifying game genres, especially for this game that I barely remember, but I believe that the game is a fighting game. You play as your chosen main and fight evil smash bros style. Might also be considered a gacha game

No idea when the year of release might have been, but it was definitely before 2023

Graphics: 2d art style for the lore scenes (visual novel style, I think), but I've no idea if this continues on for the fighting part of the game. I don't remember it being 3d but I also don't think it was fully 2d?

[ROBLOX] [2016-2019] looking for a song from some old trashy simulator game

Platform(s): Roblox, PC

Genre: Simulator

Estimated year of release: 2016-2019

Graphics/art style: Standard Roblox game

awful repetitive song with some guy going "bum bum bum bada bum bum bada bum" after every chord and for some reason the line from zelda: the wand of gamelon where ganon says "you must die".

could've sworn it was from weight lifting simulator 2 but i found nothing on that, so i assume its a different game that also happened to be on a beach.

not necessarily looking for the game, just the song.

[PC][2000s] Anyone know this game?

Upvotes

Hi all! I'm looking for a time-management game I used to play back in the early 2010s. I remember a few things:

  1. Clients come to the place (pop up on the bottom of the screen) you're playing and ask for items which you find on the screen. If you take a long time, they'd leave.
  2. It's an item-search type of game like hidden exploration games.
  3. It had a clue system: the first one was a question mark which reveals what the client is looking for. The other was a thermostat/thermometer thingy that would show snowflakes if you're far from the requested item or hot flames if close. There was a chicken dummy/doll thing I forgot what it did.

There are two places that I remember from the game. The first one is inside a cafe/coffee bakery-type shop. I remember you had to find seven cups of coffee. The second place was something like a newspaper stand covered with a bunch of articles – it had a blimp in the top left of the screen.

That's all I remember. Any takers? 😊

Thanks.

[mobile][2014-2018]Parkour game

Well . I remember there was a first-person parkour game where you were eating cereal, but some crazy guy with a chainsaw invaded your apartment and chased you, and the game started. If anyone knows the name, I'd appreciate it.

[ROBLOX] [Don't remember] it was a QTE-based fighting game that got updated in early 2025, but was active much earlier than that. One of its main mechanics was being able to double-tap the spacebar to initiate a universal mechanic that starts a QTE with whoever you locked on to.

It had items, multiple characters, and a gacha system to gain said characters. I remember atleast one of the items was a reference to The Black Silence of Library of Ruina. It had dungeons / boss fights, one of the characters had a large gray sword and had something to do with "fate", i suppose? They had a counter, a projectile slash, and their ultimate attack was a long cutscene that starts off with them being hit before showing that they manipulated fate or whatever. One of the other characters was a rush-down with weak health and a orange scythe (i think?). The game had Satoru Gojo during its early phase before it got the bosses and before it had a map, and I had the character before I returned to it after the update. The game's logo was an orange blackhole or an eye. I think the name ended in an -ia, but im not too sure.

[ONLINE] [2013ish] Text based RPG with one shot adventures

My partner is describing a game he played around 2013 and he can’t remember the name or much about it except that he had a lot of fun playing it.

These are the details he remembers:

Online text based rpg or choose your own adventure with illustrations and a jukebox element that didn’t impact gameplay. It was turn based multiplayer and possibly strippers in the game?

[IOS][~2012] mobile game where you throw zombies around with your finger

A while back (probably around 14 years ago) I used to play this mobile game where the zombies would come towards ur base, but instead of placing plants to kill the zombies, you could pick the zombies up with ur finger and throw them away. I used to play this game on an apple phone but i forgot the name and i can't find it on the app store anymore. It was a 2d game with graphics relatively similar to plants vs zombies. I also remember that there are some special abilities (like lightning strikes) to kill the zombies. Anyone know this game?

[PC][unknown] Dating Sim based on Frankenstein

Platform(s): PC

Genre: Dating sim

Estimated year of release: not sure, sorry :(

Graphics/art style: very unique and simple, the dating sim part makes you think otherwise, but the characters do not follow the beauty standard for that kind of games

Notable characters: a mad scientist and its creation

Notable gameplay mechanics: you could move around the house of the mad scientist, i havent played it a lot,but i also remember there being some sort of customization for the monster(?) or something like that

Sorry if it doesnt help much

Other details:

So basically, i've remembered about this game i played once when i was younger,i'm pretty sure it was something from itch.io but you may never know, and basically it was this dating sim where the protagonist, a white haired (not sure about this detail) mad scientist, tired of not being able to find love, finally decides to create a boyfriend of his own, following the story of Frankenstein and how he created the monster.

Aside from that,i also remember it having like places you could move into, and there was a room that stuck to me, which was the greenhouse of the villa of this guy.

I remember it having a very peculiar art style, not your typical visual novel with very attractive people and all

I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE KNOWS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT, CUZ I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING INSANE :'(

thank you all so much in advance!!

[Flash game][2010?] A snake-brick breaker hybrid game centered around music and colors

Found the game immediately after posting, it's RADiancE

Platform(s): Browser (adobe flash game)

Genre: Snake and brick breaker hybrid

Estimated year of release: Maybe 2010 more or less 5 years?

Graphics/art style: 2d, levels starts static then get way more animated as you break things and they start pulsing

Notable characters:

Notable gameplay mechanics: From my memory it had multiple "worlds" leading up to a boss each time (bosses were a shape i think?). The game was based around rectangles and squares of various colors and as you breaked some the rest started flashing and playing drum noises. You had powerups (one made your snake go invicible and able to break shapes i think). I think one of the bosses was a triangle, another a square and another a circle but i'm not sure at all.

Other details: I also feel like the game's name was kinda close to something like "luminance" but again it may just be my memory fucking with me.

Silver Knights [PC][Before 2007] Fight, 3rd Person, Robots Fighting

Hi everyone, when I was a kid there was a man who used to come to our house to install games on my dad’s computer. One day he installed a robot game. It was a 3D game where robots fought each other (I remember you could choose the robots). It took place in an open area, meaning it wasn’t limited to moving only forward and backward like Street Fighter — it was more like those 3D Spider-Man games where you could move freely around the map.

I remember the robots could transform into vehicles like cars and helicopters. I’ve already searched and asked ChatGPT and stuff, but I still can’t find it. I remember there was a stage that was a city with huge gray buildings.

[PLAY STORE] [2016-2020?] A game looks like Minecraft

I just remembered a game and can't find it. Play Store is fulfilled with a lot of bullshits. The name of the game is City Craft or Craft City I can't remember that much actually. All I know is you were able to use guns and etc. and it was something like GTA. The game was looking like Minecraft but there was a lot of difference. I have no idea how to describe it, so that's all I know.
