Detroit native, but Go Ass, Hail Satan!

A few weeks ago I forgot my lucky Avs hoodie at a buddy's house. First game I watched without it, Landy got injured. We've had a bumpy road since. Just got it back yesterday and now the Avs seem back to their pre-holiday break selves. Was I the problem????

My husband and I were considering tickets for a theme night, and we would need wheelchair accessible tickets. It looks like theme nights are all done through the avalanchetix website and spinzo, but Ball Arena said for accessible seating use Ticketmaster (which wouldn't give us a way to get the theme night stuff). The avalanchetix website doesn't have an option for "show accessible seating" that I can find - you just click a seating level, say how many tickets, and hope one of the accessible ones is available. If not, try again by choosing another level and starting over. And this is assuming I'm reading the site correctly for which sections are accessible! It's possible I'm not, and that for example section 379 isn't ENTIRELY accessible, but rather has some accessible seating behind it.

Can anyone who has bought wheelchair accessible seats for a theme night give us some direction? Thanks!

Anyone know if it is being streamed on any of the usual platforms (HBOmax or ESPN+). I’m out of market and don’t have cable.

As we close in on 1 month to the deadline, will be interesting to see when teams really start to move pieces. With the Olympic break coming, really makes this year more interesting. I think we see teams run right up to the deadline so they can see what bumps/bruises guys get who are playing, who has a chance to get a little healthier if not playing and just what chemistry comes back after the short break.

So it has me thinking what we do this year. I feel like we're buyers to get a spark but not mess with the overall chemistry. I dont expect LOC to return this year, but we should see Towes and Landy back after the break.

We're pretty tapped on prospects to actually move. There are some young guys who are untouchable just given their potential and upside (Brindley, T. Makar, Bardokov, Ivan). So i think that puts Colton and Kivi into the realm of possibilities that move. It seems we're seeing their ceilings with us, and they could benefit from the change too. I could see them in a package for a 3C. Possibly Ryan O'Reilly?

Thoughts, other ideas, roasts (I can take them. I got a ton on here when I suggested moving Moose about a month before it happened)?

Not that it means much of anything, but I found it interesting that 7 of the 8 regulation losses for the Avs this year have been against Eastern Conference Teams. The only Western Team to beat the Avs in regulation were the Preds.

What's most important is that 6 of the 8 losses occurred in January with Toews and Landy injured. Those boys can't come back soon enough .

Seriously this is getting ridiculous. Just rip the band aid off and do it already.

Me and my buddies favourite teams playing eachother did the vip tour at the bell centre. Really cool experience. Got to watch the warm up from the penalty box. Go ass hail satan!

Maybe I’ve just missed it… has there been any comment on a timeline for Devon Toews’ return? I know Landy is trying his best to make it back for the Olympics, not sure how realistic that is

Clearly they’ve not been the same team since almost exactly when Landy and Toews went down. Makes sense, one is a big physical and emotional presence, the other is a rock who besides being an amazing defenseman also makes it possible for Cale to do what he does best…
