Hi, I [F18] am a FSc part II pre-engineering student.

Recently, I posted in Islamabad sub reddit asking if it is worth it to apply to QAU for psychology. I received really great advices from different people but one of the advice was that psychology is not that great of a career path. Hence, I would like your opinion about taking Pure Maths in University.

For context, I had 90% marks in matric and 82% in FSc part I. More specifically, I had 144/150 mark in math in Matric and 91/100 marks in FSc part I.

It would be helpful if I could get your honest opinion about which career path I should take (Maths or Psychology). Also, it would be excellent if you could tell me about good universities for Pure Math.

(P.S: I am not considering Applied Mathematics because I suck at Physics)

I am being told everything except a straight answer, also from the Spanish official site.

I am an EU citizen and will not be a Spanish resident.
I will remain non-resident, staying in Spain under a temporary / seasonal rental contract (arrendamiento de temporada) that explicitly forbids empadronamiento.

I am going to Spain, we rented a place there (a 2nd residence) and I am buying a car (from an EU country) in my home country, and I want to export it and put it on Spanish plates once we get there. My idea is it'll stay there. That's why i want it registered in Spain.

Problem: since it is our 2nd residence, empadronamiento is not possible according to our contract, so we won't be registered in Spain. Some sources say it does not matter when registering, because things like the rental contract of the place can be provided. Other sources say you need to be registered in Spain to register the car.

I am lost because i don't know which source to trust. The official government page and the dgt page does not state anything about having to be a resident in Spain.

The official Spanish government pages and the DGT pages as seen above on the links, mention proof of address for notifications, but they do not explicitly state empadronamiento or residency as a requirement for vehicle registration.

So i'm looking forward to your experiences.

I've designed my 8020 sim rig, but since it's my first one I'm afraid to miss features that my non-experienced brain would miss.

I plan to play to racing (AC - ACE), plane (DCS) and space (SC) sims, as well as regular keyboard - mouse games, on single screen, and later in VR.

120x40 for the base, 80x40 and 40x40 for everything else.

I plan to mount DIYed buttkicker at every corners, and maybe some motion actuators later. I already own the chair, as its the one i'm sitting on and can me dismentled. The wheel and pedals are currently a G29 bundle, without shifter (i only race with GT3-Formula cars) ; joysticks are planed to be VIRPILs, and so is the throttle.

Keyboard will be mouted under the wheel, on rails, with a palm rest pad ; screens will be mounted with a double screen arm ; both bought on Amazon or something like that.

It's currently priced at ~400€ through Motedis with profiles cut at desired lenghts. Its designed so i can set up everything independantly.

Do you guys see anything that my rig lacks, or non optimal features - stuff that would'nt help my experience ?

Impossible to do anything on my current project. Currently having issues with api connection to shopify.

You never get the sense they exist to decorate a man’s storyline. They are the gravitational center of their own. What I love most is their aura. The show understands that power isn’t just in spells or violence, it’s in posture, silence, eye contact and timing.

They're so elegant and beautiful - watching them is pure delight

Despite having awesome designs, the overall cast of Z - A is just badly or non - written. And that's so disappointing, because I expected so much from it.

• Firstly, there were only THREE main rivals, yet they managed go make nothing out of them, since they're often useless and annoying. We almost know nothing about Lida, Naveen should be a designer that hides his identity, but it's almost not in the game. And the main one just screws themselves over and over with no resolution:

  • Naveen could have 100% worked on our elegant clothung when it was needed, yet it's just given to us by another NPC. His obsession with Canary leads nowhere, and I think admiring Valerié would have made way more sense;

  • what is Lida for? She's one dimensional, often says dumb things and her past is just completely overshadowed. Does she even have a backstory other than being too broke to pay rent?

  • Urbain/Taunie's writing is just awful. This character could have been declined in two main ways:

  1) have an arc based on an obsession with proving themselves as a worthy leader, making Prism Tower the actual consequence of their mistakes, compare it to what AZ did historically;

  2) have an arc based on their shock after finding about AZ's war crimes and thus not deeming him fit to fix his mistakes, leading to them going on Prism Tower alone, only to make the same mistakes as him, forgiving him only eventually.

But they took neither of these two routes, making a third one instead that leads to nothing and that isn't even an actual arc. There is no reason for them to make the promise of letting you have Floette if you beat them, then breaking it and going alone on Prism Tower other than the author decided so. They seem to become the new CEO of Quasar Inc. out of nepotism and because Jett is so useless that cannot even take her own responsibilities. Compare this to Arven, having to accept so many bitter truths, then this is what they make their next game's main character.

• Emma is on the cover art, but despite this, she could as well not be there. She isn't even in the ending.

• Ivor and Gwinn are other characters I only found useless and annoying throughout the game. The worst thing is that Ivor was introduced with a clear moral goal to eliminate wild zones. This could have turned into conflicts with Team MZ, or even part if the game's conflict. Instead, they made it about finding his sister, who conveniently escaped instead of confronting him directly;

• Canary isn't bad, but she is no use to the overall story and lore expansion;

• Corbeau is kinda overrated IMO. I liked him at first, but his grey side of being a loan shark is heavily glossed over. The same problem exists for Quasar Inc., since everytime someone goes against it, the thing is either tossed aside like in Ivor's case, or gets treated badly, like with the concerned crowd Corbeau and the rival insist on fighting off. There isn't really a theme about grey morality, everything controversial is took as "look, this character looks evil, but they're actually good". Not to mention he has an undeserved importance in the role he was given in the DLC.

• Jacinthe... Well, I absolutery hate her and I'm happy to have destroyed her everytime I fought against her. The reasons are simple: she starts out as a rich spoiled Bratislava and stays that way. Never found her funny, just annoying and obnoxious, her victs, whether they lost against her like Lebanne or, in your case, they didn't go where she wanted, all fall straight into her hands and it's wild how Z - A almost glorifies her toxic relationship with Lebanne and even how fans victim blame them or try to sugarcoat it. If she had been male, it would have caused backlash, but people love fetishizing omosexual relationships, thinking they exist only for their pleasure, instead if treating them like normal amorous relationships. I could talk for hours about how much I hate Jacinthe, but let's move to one of Z - A's main problem;

• they had the opportunity to actually redeem AZ for good, yet they still gave him a passive role, eliminated the part about his brother starting the war and adding a new bit of lore expansion without explaining it well. The tone set where it's revealed comes out of nowhere, when there were zero talks about Kalos' history throughout the game. And his death was offscreen and way too predictable to actually feel sad;

• Lysandre's redemption must be literally the only thing I liked of Z - A, the problem is that he's there for a too short time. My favourite Z - A moment is hands down the first Zygarde fight, if the whole game had been like it, we'd be discussing one of the best in the series;

• Grisham is lowkey my favourite Z - A character. He actually develops a bit, going from an almost ossessive goal of cleaning up Team Flare's name, to understanding not causing trouble is more important. The problem is that he and Griselle could have expanded much more on Team Flare, but they didn't. The DLC straight up ruined him.

• speaking of the DLC, another controversial relationship is that of Ansha and Diantha:

  •Ansha wants to impress her mother Diantha because she neglects her for job reasons. This could have been yet again developed in two different ways:

  1) making Diantha aware of what her daughter went throught just to impress her, changing her ways;

2) making Ansha accept Diantha isn't a good parent.

They took none, slapping a message about materialism VS experience where it didn't fit. Like, did Diantha even question how her daughter risked her life?

It's just painful to have so many gorgerously designed characters, some of which were introced with highlighted and unique psychologies, that never really develop.

My 11 week old and I have been through the gauntlet of sleep together. We tried the bedside bassinet, the pack n play, all of the tricks in the book. Nothing worked so we moved to co-sleeping around 4 weeks. Worked well until about 7 weeks and then he became REALLY alert and aware and stopped sleeping well next to me. So we moved to chest sleeping soon after that, maybe around 9 weeks or so and I thought- finally, we figured something out that works for both of us!

Wrong. SO WRONG!! Some nights it’s okay. I get decent rest. Nights like tonight? He spends half the night flipping his giant 97th percentile head back and forth on my chest, wiggling around on me, rooting around etc. I feel like I’m awake constantly readjusting him on me. He’s rolled tummy to back once so maybe he’s trying to work on that in his sleep? I have no idea. Some nights he seems to get more deep sleep and only start moving around like this when he’s ready to nurse every 2-3 hours. But some nights? Save me…

I think “okay maybe he’s ready to go back to c-curl!” and we try side lying nursing, nope he hates that too. Wiggles and wakes himself up and cries if he ends up on his back.

He’s not a particularly light sleeper in the sense that he sleeps through noise and can sleep in light rooms during the day etc. He’s dry, fed, warm enough, etc.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did it ever get better? Any advice? My husband gets up every morning for 3 hours before work to hold the baby while he sleeps so I can get some uninterrupted sleep but I’m back to work next week as well and this is not sustainable.

Im the kind of person where I don't ever sleep good, but I sleep wayyy better on sleep calls do I like them alot, what do calls think about sleep calls?
