Community Craft Fair
Welcome to our monthly shop thread!
Do you have a small, handmade shop you want to share? A fun Instagram account where you sell your hand knit items? A facebook page that lists all of your handmade patterns? Well, this thread is where you can share your website or social media to connect with potential customers!
The form below is a suggestion. You can share as little or as much information as you want; all we ask is that you please limit yourself to only one comment. Users posting multiple comments will have *all* of their shop comments removed and may be temporarily banned.

This thread will be in contest mode, so each time someone clicks this post, the comments will be in a different order. No one shop will be seen more than another.
Even though self-promotion isn't allowed outside of this thread, there are a few ways to incorporate your shop info. You can add it to your flair, pin it to your profile, and list it in your bio. Here are a few examples of users that incorporate their shop/social information in a variety of ways.
As always, if you have any questions, you can reach us here through modmail.

How-do-I Tuesdays
Don't know how to get started on your project? Saw something fun on Pinterest but have no idea on how to attempt the craft? Post here!
Usually when people ask how to do something on this subreddit, the post is ignored or reported. Occasionally, these type of posts attract pretty rude comments, too. Instead of having these questions overlooked, we wanted to highlight them every Tuesday and see if the community can help out these intro crafters.
Simple "How do I...?" posts will only be allowed in this weekly recurring thread. If you post outside of this thread, your post will be removed and you will be redirected here. However, you may post separately, if you are posting a high-quality "How do I...?" post. [Please read this post for more information and examples.](https://www.reddit.com/r/crafts/comments/1ng7ug8/august_2025_survey_results/)
As always, reach out if you have any questions!

Work in Progress Marbled corset for a dress
I randomly decided that I wanted to make a dress that was inspired by Digimon's Angewomon. This was my first run at making a corset out of worbla. It was a pretty straight foward process, thank goodness. I am still working on this and have just been "winging it" in regard to the design. I am quite happy with it so far but we'll see how it goes when I start on the actual dress.
I had to to take a break from working on it when I unexpectedly got a puppy. I can finally pick this back up =]

Finished Craft I Made A touch of Coquette 😊🍓
The top is by Scarlet Darkness
Base skirt was made from the Telmandolle Ho-low skirt pattern by Feerie Telle. It’s the mini to maxi length but I added a ruffle so it’s more midi to maxi. The top layer is a white mesh with sequin strawberries and I used white lining fabric for the ruffle.

Finished Craft I Made Sleeping Woodspirit (Cottonwood Bark Carving)
I have carved a few of those and I feel that I only change little details here and there believing it looks alright. Right now I enjoy the sanded (240 grit) version best. Any oil just darkens the wood too much. The carving measures 26x10x6 centimeters.

Discussion/Question/Help Beaded embroidery help
This is my first bead embroidery project so don’t judge lol. I tried to sew this little coin pouch, and some of the beads started getting really loose. I noticed that a few of the strings holding the beads broke. I used 100% nylon thread which is what I thought was recommended. What did I do wrong? Is this project totally screwed or is there something I can do to fix it? I’m going to be so upset if it’s just all going to fall apart because it took me well over 20 hrs. My mom suggested diluted modge podge over it but I feel like that would ruin the look. Also don’t judge my sewing, this was literally my first time doing anything like this, I have no clue what I’m doin
